How exactly does parrying/blocking the Peacekeeper's bleed-inducing triple stab work?
I managed to do it by chance a couple of times, but I have trouble replicating it.
Do I have to parry them using R2/RT?
What timing should I be doing this? Mid-thrust? Right before it lands? Right as it lands?
Edit:
For clarification, I'm not talking about counter-guard-breaking the grab attack, I'm talking about literally blocking the three stabs that come after.
Even after the Peacekeeper grabs you and starts stabbing you, you can still block her stabs.
I've done it a few times.
IIRC, my guard was set to right stance, but I have no idea what I pressed.
I have tried figuring this out too! If I dont block it takes 1/2 my life so if anyone knows plz let us know!Originally Posted by Shinkirou_ Go to original post
The PK triple stab is initiated by their Guard Break, so you want to press your Guard Break button to counter it when they grab you. Also note that the PK needs time their stabs correctly, or they will automatically get Counter Guard Broken.

I'm pretty sure the stabs are unblockable if they get the guard break off. The tricky part is actually blocking the guard break. The window is very small and you fail if you press it too early.
As far as I know, you cannot do anything to break the stabs early -- it is completely reliant on the PK getting the attack timings correct. If they fail, then it breaks mid attack.Originally Posted by Shinkirou_ Go to original post

Some more seasoned veterans can probably attest to this. I've seen it mentioned in other threads before.
Their triple-hit is accompanied by their guardbreak, so it's a free hit for them if you don't counter their guardbreak or if they fail to accompany their attack after the guard break.
it is definately a thing. ive seen it both from the PK's perspective and the defendee. i have done the triple stab and it resulted in no damage and it did indeed make a blocking sound, and i have also had a PK grab me and stab me three times, it resulting in me taking no damage and it making definate blocking sounds each hit. im not sure whether or not this is an intended mechanic or a glitch but it is definately a thing
Apparently your time in the beta doesn't matter because it is 100% blockable, I mained a PK during the beta (literally the only class I played) and people could block my stabs. OP I think you either have to block to the right with correct timing or press the guard breaker button again (again I think timing is the key)Originally Posted by Vulgorn Go to original post
