What do you want, a fence put up between the two battles? It just doesn't make any sense. Why play a 2v2 as if it is a 1v1? The brawl mode is there to switch up the regular 1v1 mode. So the motivation is there to win your fight quickly, so you are not teamed up on. That is basically it. Anything else is a glorified 1v1, and we already have a 1v1 mode. I'll always join in and smash the last guy with my team mate, unless my teammate says otherwise.
As someone who enjoyed the 2v2 I can say that when its 2v1 it does get vary hard to stay alive, that being said when he 2nd jumps in I did my best to pay attention to their stance and tried to block/dodge accordingly and it worked 50% of the time. But that's the point of a 2v2. to defeat one and move on to smash the seconds face in, or master your defense
In the end I used 2v2 as a way to learn how to block/dodge better with all classes, and I learned some sidestep faster than others mainly two handers move the slowest. but After a day of working on that when I jumped in 4v4 I was able to defend myself much better then before and often times it save my hide till back up evened the field out. AI and PVP.
in 2v2 i loved when my partner died and i see that message and i know i need to finish my opponent quickly! or get into a position where i can use the enviroment to my advantage and limit there ability to surround me, or maybe push them off, if i wanted a 100% fair fight i would go to 1v1.Originally Posted by Mathonn Go to original post
IF you dont wnat to ever fight 2 people at a time THERE IS A MODE FOR THAT. i swear some people just dont make sense. "i only want to fight 1v1 but i also for some reason wont play the 1v1 game mode and complain that theres team fights in the team based game modes"
Look out everyone!!! We got a Badazz! I'm shiverin' all Ova!Originally Posted by Auztinito Go to original post
Remember that mechanic called revenge? If you get into a 1v2 situation prioritize defending in'till you get revenge, After you revenge you have a small window to kill 1 of them and make it a fair fight. I am not saying I won a lot of 1v2's but I definitely won quite a few just by patiently waiting for revenge before making an offensive move.
Me and my friend wants to play 2v2 together and not 1v1 seperately. We did honor the 1v1 fights and after playing quite much we ended up meeting a majority of players who did the same.
One thing is certain though, if one of us won first and then went over without interrupting their duel, the opposing team usually did the same to us.
Me and my friend treated the beta as a way to improve in the game, and you dont really learn very much from playing 2v1.
I agree with OP, it is very nice when people have some honor in the 2v2s and wait till one fight is over until they engage. I always try to do that, sadly the favour isn't returned all that often.
I always wait the other couple to finish their duel (I play a knight so it's somehow part of my "lore" as well, i'll no wonder if a savage Viking will enjoy more to axe me in the back while i'm facing his scrub partner)
I wait for them to finish even if the enemy don't "turn the favor". Actually you have SAME if not MORE CHANCE to win a 1v2 other than a 1v1 with Revenge.
Not going in a 2vs1 and preventing the 1 from getting Revenge faster it's a better strategy when you face decent skilled opponents that know the basics of the game and can block/parry properly.
Just l2p and you'll see how 1v2 it's defenetly not a problem if not an advantage for you
If you play the 2v2 brawl, you should not expect anyone not to gank 2v1 on you! That's an option on the mode and people will use it. Don't expect people everyone to play like you want.
HOWEVER i think what would be really awesome is a new mode which is 1v1 king of the hill, which might be something what OP would enjoy. It's 1v1 and once it's over one of the spectators joins the fiht for another 1v1. No ganking possible and fun for the spectators![]()
Well, but that's exactly the answer people should provide. The way I see it, I don't really mind if I get double-teamed in 2v2. I always go by my little rule "don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you", therefore I am completely ok if others gank me and it suddenly becomes 1v2. Then again, if you get ganked and the other player hits you as well, contributing to your revenge bar, you have a significant advantage over them both. Revenge mode is here for that, also he can injure his mate.Originally Posted by Gen.Wolf Go to original post
