I agree. I play 2v2 with buddy and like it much more than the 4v4 dominion. It lets the combat system shine in our opinion. When we play 2v2 we waited 9 out of 10 times for fight to end. Only when enemy refused honor we returned the favor. Just find it more fun that way to wait. Really, do we need to play 2v2 like 4v4 dominion?Originally Posted by Gen.Wolf Go to original post
I'd love to play duel but my Warden didn't do well against all orchi and nobushi last night in that mode. That bleed is a bit too much. With mm finding me players with rep over one and the char lvl thing well above mine! Mostly dudes in the 30-50s. It was alot of defeats in a row. Basically lots of matches against dudes that played nothing but this all weekend! It hurt. But can't wait until the 14th cause I will dive deeeeep into this game with my friends.
when i win and the other person is still fighting then i just emote off to the side and cheer on my teammate (unless they gank me, then i unleash the power of the burning 6th circle of hell on them)
Ekhm, there is one map where both players from team starts next to each other. And second, if this should be 2x 1vs1, why there is no wall between that 1vs1 duels? It could have gate that will open, when both duels are finished for another duel, if ppl from diffirent teams survived. This mode allows to do 2x 1vs1 or 2vs2. Its up to you how you and your friend choose a tactic, but dont be offended when opponents will take diffirent one.Originally Posted by Auztinito Go to original post

There was a very narrow map where we started as a partnership facing the other. The ensuing fights were quite entertaining as we approached each other crossing back and forth to draw one opponent to the better matchup or separate them in a strategic way. The game mode is open ended to allow you to set the verbal agreement if you choose, but the rules are not inherent ad players should not be criticized for playing in a team manner.
I personally always let my partner finish their fight if I kill my opponent first. That's if the enemies do the same but if not I return the favor. I know ganking is part of 2v2 but I don't like it.
I wish there was more game modes, I'd like to play with my friend in a team but not in ganking game...

Yep, I'm not playing 2v2 to be ganked. Beside that point, So far I just see ppl telling me to go somewhere else instead of being constructive on the topic. I get there are ppl that don't want to understand the concept I'm talking about, or just be trolls and tell myself and others to go to 1v1, but the purpose of this forum and section is to be constructive on the "thought" of. Not just reply with a short or long message stating "go play 1v1/deal with it". Either contribute or post else where.
Except the "go play 1v1" is intended as constructive, because you are looking for a rule set that is in play in the Duel and not in the Brawl, and insulting those that are playing the Brawl as a 2v2 matchup.
I'll restate it as simply as I can.,, if you enter a 2v2 and lose your partner first, you are not being "ganked", you are suffering the unfortunate drawbacks of having lost your partner. You are basically calling people cheap for playing the team game they entered into and then bailing because you want them to play by other rules.
If you communicate a "gentlemen's" agreement before the match that you will all wait for each individual contest to finish before continuing the engagement and somebody breaks the agreement, then by all means be mad at the guy who dishonors the agreement.
The overall solution is a Round Robin mode that sets those rules, but without a "karma" system applied to honor the only way to make sure one adheres to that would be to separate the individual duels via gates.

The OP is complaining because everyone is not adhering to their idea of what 2v2 brawl means. it is a brawl, not a elimination-style fight. Do not get mad because your ideology is not getting the reinforcement you think it should.
The "ganking" is part of a 2v2.
In my opinion it should however be a bit easier to prevent your opponent from running off into the other fight. It's too easy at the moment.
I have to say I think that makes the 2v2 game mode all the more interesting, as others have said it adds more pressure to the 2v2 but it also adds a level of 'honor' and 'respect' to the game. many players will allow you to fight your opponent without interference, if not then its really about staying in the fight until your revenge mode is upOriginally Posted by Gen.Wolf Go to original post
