I don't know if the auto-block triggers off any block or if it is only from blocking an attack from someone you are/aren't locked onto. But it is absolutely a mechanic that allows you to block multiple attackers.

So yes I don't think you have adequate in game knowledge and yes I do think you are refusing to learn and yes I KNOW that you're wrong.
So long as you block the first incoming attack from any source, you will block all other attacks that come in during that block frame.
So long as you move your guard into the direction of the next attack after the first block frame, you'll block all other incoming attacks like in the first instance.
This means that, so long as you're actively trying to block, the more uncoordinated attackers attacking you, the more likely you are to block an attack, especially if you're actively trying. This also means that, the more strikes you block because of this increased pressure, the faster you'll generate vengeance.
Here's a short clip I've uploaded as an example- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSYsTGLZ91g -3v1, suck in a corner, but all guys positioned on my right so all incoming strikes only had to be blocked on the right (except the target, but his strikes were being wasted because of his allies spamming into my guard).

But of course the OP doesn't like the vengeance mechanic, so no matter how you argue he'll simply move on to the next thing he doesn't like because it's "cheap" or "not realistic" or whatever reason as he's already stated. Regardless of if that's reasonable, and is important for a reasonably balanced game.

Also here's a look from the other side. Vengeance is important for balance because it solves the problem of being able to gang up and gank someone who's smart enough not to just die to overwhelming numbers- https://youtu.be/axdjWp-WKEQ?t=66
I actually tell my team mates to back off and be careful when he pops Vengeance. They didn't, and the Raider took advantage.

Better way is for you to learn not ganked.
Just play 1v1. Ur skills or play style is not for mobs.

    Better team mates.

you can block multiple hits from multiple directions by only blocking the first attack keep doing this till you see a opportunity to zone attack or single out a enemy with a quick hit. ive won a few 3v1 and even a 4v1 its hard but doable you can see a few people on youtube do it too. this game is gona have a huge problem because its hard to to say ive done something wrong but every time you get hit its your fault but just take a breathe look back hard at the fight and think what could i have done differently there is always a answer in this game.

Parry is also a valid tactic in that situation as well. And in revenge mode it knocks EVERYBODY down as well giving you a chance to either run and gtfo. Or if you think you can manage try to whittle them down,

Practice, Practice, Practice is what it boils down to in fighting games. As the beta went on nearing the end I was starting to get comfortable fighting classes like the Warlord, There are things you can do you just have o practice and outsmart the other player, Once you learn about a class as you experience it yourself it starts to become clear. Im not saying there are not things that need tweaking because there are a lot of MINOR tweaks this game needs and some things that are just fine but people need to learn to fight against.

Peacekeeper is a perfect example. In the first 2 days of beta I was screaming OP to my friends, Then I started focusing on duels and fought a lot 1v1 and now I know how to counter them and I don't find them OP at all anymore, The point of the class is to be fast to throw you off balance but if you calm down, breathe and focus on the movements you can counter them very easy, but as with fighting games its all PRACTICE, you won't get better without studying the mechanics of every single class inside and out. I love what this game is doing and cannot wait to get back at it as a fighting game fan

I already know of that mechanic, if you had read my posts you'd know that I want something skill based, faster manual blocking in a situation where more than one enemy has locked onto you, where skill is implemented. NOT autoblock from all directions when you happen to block one hit for a minute amount of time. Please read the entirety of my posts. I don't think you have adequate English comprehension and yes I do think you are being ignorant and yes I KNOW that you are wrong. L2R.

Look, As what we have explained multiple times now all this boils down to is that you are not fond of the fundamentals of how this games mechanics are done, There is no changing what it is without a major delay and retool of how the entire system works. Its quite simple to understand after all of this back and forth that this game is not for you as it stands, We seem to have no issue doing what you asked based on the current mechanics and it is in no way a button mash fest even on a 3v1 and I know this because I have won many of those battles because of patience and skill. 9/10 of this game is skill because it is a Fighting Game even in those 3v1 states. If you know your class and what you are up against you can win, You just have to learn the mechanics.

Im sorry you feel its a button masher but it's not. and the way the game is designed it will never be changed without a total teardown and another 1-2 years of development to change the entire mechanic setup of what it is. But yes express your dislike about it and make what you want changed for what probably will be For Honor 2 a couple years from now but as this game is on shelves in 2 weeks express your dislike by not purchasing it as its all you can do but know that others like myself accept it and enjoy it as is.
