Because at the moment, even running, dodging, blocking, etc is useless; pointless. It should not be easy to defend against multiple enemies, but it shouldn't be impossible either. It strangles any strategy if anyone can just ******** the life out of their single opponent, one man at a time, in minimum time and effort, by just spamming attacks. It promotes nothing but button bashing. I know there is a mini map, and it can be avoided, but for players like me that always want to play the objective, I'm not going to run and hide. I'm going to go for the objective points, so it is inevitable that I am going to run into someone. I just think battling against multiple opponents at once could be tweaked. I know I can also team up on single players, and I do, as sometimes it just happens that way. Even when beating a single opponent when I have even just another teammate attacking with me, it is super easy. It requires the bare minimum skill and effort. If you're reading this, don't think that this is an argument against the tactics of teaming up against a single player on the battlefield; as it isn't, as it is definitely viable. On the battlefield, there are no rules. But there is a balancing issue. Although the player defending against two or more opponents attacking will have the odds against them, a skilled player should be able to stand more of a chance. To have a slight chance of surviving, or an even a more slight chance of succeeding in winning, is better than no chance at all, and would greatly improve the game. I'd would suggest maybe to speed up the blocking in multiple directions, or to make countering an attack easier and more efficient when you have two or more players locked onto you, and attacking. Just some food for thought that Ubisoft developers can chew on, and muse away![]()

he problem is when they attack you from behind and you lose stability, but blocking with some practice is not that hard, the game helps you to do it so.
The problem is that you get vengeance, and that **** is broken, totally unskilled. They need to nerf it because you can kill both, and another one in the process.
"returning the odd" would be if the mode stopped when you kill the one who caused to activate it, not killed the whole team because of that, spamming hits and killing everyone in 2 blows. its totally unskilled.
I was hoping a skill game, at least the sell it that way.
I know how to block and am quite efficient at it; I was in on the alpha before this. The same thing is happening since the alpha, where there is no chance at all, whatsoever, in a fight against more than one opponent at the same time. For the person that said "revenge/zone attacks" -- I want to be able to have at least a sliver of a fighting chance with the chance of injecting meaningful skill to the encounters, not having to wait each time for my revenge/stamina meter to fill up, then activate it, and then mash buttons, spam attacks, be out of stamina and a sitting duck, or whatever. I don't want to have to rely on super power bars to get me out of jail, I doesn't feel like I earnt it.Originally Posted by Yvendel Go to original post
If you remain in an outnumbered situation that's your decision. If you can't handle those numbers, that's on you. You have options when outnumbered such as disengage, rotating, and duking. If you can leave a capture point (where you should be fighting at all times) and drag three enemy players across the map on a wild goose chase, or into your allies to outnumber, or create peels (friendlies peeling enemy pressure off you) then you've won. I understand everybody's new to the game and has tunnel vision for fighting K/D, but the fact is this is an objective based game mode. When players actually start playing to win, and playing the objective, an outnumbered situation will likely be more good than bad if you know how to properly handle it.Originally Posted by Chris_Oblivion Go to original post
This is a L2P issue.
Then don´t join a 1vs1, because that will give your opponent a huge amount of rage. just wait und fight him afterwards, then your chances to win are higher.Originally Posted by Yvendel Go to original post
The worst thing you guys could do is attacking a Conquerer with 2-3 guys.... he can just play sittingduck in a corner and then beat the crap out of you once one is out of stamina or makes a mistake.
The skillcap of this game is pretty high... it takes more skill to to defend against severall targets and then kill them in rage mode then punching a guy by buttonmashing with 2-3 guys.

Different classes have different playstyles. If you are trying to do something at an objective and get attached by 2+ people learning to defend against it is up to you. It is possible for ALL classes to do this however there are characters that are built for defense like the Conqueror and Warlord where its easier to defend, But I have seen all the Light DPS in this beta hold a zone from 2 or 3 before you just need to learn how because of your harder blocking and less health.
I agree that Revenge needs tweaking, The ability itself is fine, Its the gear stat boosts that allow you to make a character Build Revenge on Def/Atk AND Duration & Dmg. THIS is what needs to change. Right before Beta ended on my Conqueror I held a Control point against 2 Peacekeepers and Revenged 3 times because of that gear and my DEF build. It needs a change. I say again I have NO ISSUE with Revenge itself, Its actually easy to combat once you L2P, The gear boosts is what makes it OP
You really didn't understand my post, which when I first typed it out, was a concern of mine that people would not read or comprehend properly. It is not about remaining in an outnumbered situation, it is strictly for when you are stuck in one, by any means. When you can't do anything but get hit, which stops you from moving, rolling, dodging, etc. Not what happens before it, or evading it before it happens. My post was about when you are engaged in combat, IE; locked onto another opponent. Not still running, or anything else. It has nothing to do with just "not being able to handle the numbers". You wouldn't be able to handle it either, so that statement was pretty pointless. This topic doesn't include moments where you can run away, and running away is definitely not an option when you are getting smashed left, right, and centre. It is about where you are stuck against 2 or more opponents with nowhere to go. This also has nothing to do with me being new to the game, as before mentioned I was in on the alpha and played that heavily, as well as getting some serious time in this. I previously mentioned I play the objective, and don't care enough about a K/D ratio, so I have absolutely no clue why that was even mentioned.Originally Posted by Butonfly Go to original post
