I guess Guard is useless in 1v1 (.. vs. Orochi)

    faster class = faster win

Warden is literally useless against fast classes like orochi or kensei.

You cannot play passive or active. No matter what you do: They hit you multiple times more and makes more damage on you!
why I should play 1v1 with Warden, if classes like Orochi is countering me everytime smoothly? The Warden is too low.

I just have good 1v1 games with other classes like Nobochi, Peacekeeper, beserker, raider... But Orochi is horrible.
The next problem is: How it comes that the damage of Orochi is 20-40 % more then guardian? What the hell is this balance?

I dont know if Knights are worth or not (except Peacekeeper).

I have no idea how I can counter a freaking good Orochi, because he is countering me everytime.

of course every class has good and bad match up, and orochi is the worst match up for warden, because of the huge difference in mobility. still warden is a very good hero even in duel

I would say the orochi is still overtuned, his sideroll strike into guardbreak is VERY hard to deal with.

However the Kensei is average in duels, Warden VS Kensei is definitely a good match-up for the Warden, your overhead lightstrike will parry his unblockable attack and then open him up for a light strike in shoulder charge into heavy strike. His sidestep attack is always opposite to the side he is dodging, ie he is dodging right, your guard should be left, and vice-versa.

You just need to practice and better understand the combat mechanics, go duel some, as you wont learn anything in 4v4 honor-less gankfest.

Warden is very strong against most classes, but 1 class cannot best everyclass, there are good matchups and bad ones.

The 2 very strong toons currently VS any class is the Raider and Orochi.

I have had victories against Orochi as the Raider before. It sure as hell isn't easy and i agree that he is OP but I've found that playing defensive works against him and waiting for a block break usually works, provided that you use some light attacks instead of a heavy after the break.

I didn't get a lot of this game at first and feel like many mainstream gamers will be offput by the learning curve. It's a domination world or they just can't have it lol but it's got some great premise and if you understand the micro mechanics you can still do massive damage in 4v4 but lose because you are only doing the kills instead of zones.

Many still don't understand blocking isn't parrying, you cannot run and hack n slash in this game.

Well, I play Orochi, and yeah some classes are easier some harder to duel.
It just depends on the matchup. Sometimes You need to keep distance, sometimes You need to keep it close.
Like a real duel between two different warriors.

As for now, I don't see any huge balancing issues. Yeah, I tend to hate fight the god damn Samurai Spearman, but on the other hand they get pretty much rekt against double wielded Viking...

Thank you for your reply and this tips.

Yes, its very hard to play against a Orochi. I would be happy if theres some specific guides or videos for guardian against Orochi.

    regards,
    me

Honestly, when I first started dueling there were a couple classes that I was like "F*** this is impossible" but after I played a bit more and played the classes learned their movesets you begin to start seeing where you could counter. As someone said earlier sometimes you have to keep your distance others you have to keep pushing

the only problem i have with orochis is there charge attack, i dont know how to deal with it, they hold there sword and then charge to me and there attack is coming left or right, but i cant react that quickly, i dont know if its because of lag or i am getting to old? thats the only issue i have with this

Yeah this is a huge problem for me as well. I can survive and counter the spammy nature of their attacks if I try hard enough but the charge alone is just too rough to counter. If they notice they can't get any decent hits on me and I start pulling ahead in the fight, they just decide to roll back and do their charge attack repeatedly until they win. It's a little goofy honestly.
