People are leaving 1v1 match when they are about to lose by closing their game.
My suggestion is to penalize them with a match loss and a 5 minute timeout when they leave like that. And the timeout minutes should increase by +5 minutes per previous match leaves.

Had it done to me today too I don't mind people leaving at least you get to fight the bot and still get the reward at the end it's the scumbags that ALTf4 I had a noob orochi thinking he was awesome cos he won the first round by spamming like an idiot then taunting me so I double perfect him the next 2 rounds and just as it was about to be 3 he altf4.
Scumbags like that need to have some sort of mark or symbol against there names if they do it too often so you can just not bother playing them.

They don't close the game they just exit the match. You can exit to the world map by pressing escape and leaving. All I can say that if they create a penalty for this, many people will stop playing. I have left plenty of matches because some people jsut run around all over the place and exploit the lock unlock mechanics. This is annoying, I'm not going to play that match, I'll exit and start a new match.
Considering how low the population is there is almost zero wait time, so I see no reason why you cant just fire up another match if they leave.
Would you rather they leave or would you rather they jsut stand there and let you kill them, because they get 150xp if they let you kill them and can just farm xp and do nothing...If they leave they get no loot or XP so they are already penalized, you atleast can continue fighting and get your stuff.
