I wish i could reply to every1 that want this removed or nerfed because i think whoever thinks like this want to just gang up on ppl. this is the most dishonorable thread i have seen on the forum. revenge mode is the best thing that happen i wish they would buff it. leave ppl alone thats fighting 1v1 and you dont have to worry about it the last time i ganged up on some one in breaking it was a conq and he got all his health back because it was 4 v 1 and i think one of his feat was helping him plus revenge mode so we stood back and let the fight 1v1 and he lost so that would be my last time time ganging up on some1. revenge is the perfect counter to dishonorable ppl who dont wait there turn but before you say its not real life to have honor then it says alot about you has a person and you should be ashamed and your parents didnt raise you like that i hope. love it devs i want a buff to revenge to really punish ppl who gang up on you

Ok, and? What makes you think this matters? Cool, great he got his revenge up really quickly. That's because hes better than them. Are you saying this great ability that gives people a chance in a losing situation should be nerfed simply because some people have a lot of skill? That's an absolutely awful thing to think. If you truly think that revenge mode is op and needs a nerf, just look farther into the video you sent to realize how beatable it is. The opponent gets revenge mode, and even though he has revenge mode too, he doesn't activate it. The idea of a last ditch adrenaline rush is cool but I agree that it punishes teamwork and should be toned down.
Its not an "I Win" button by any means but why should you and your teammates have to back off in a power play position? The fight begins 4v4. One team strategically drops a target and know has the upper hand, People complain about being double or triple teamed. I think that is why they added friendly fire. If your are getting ganged up on stick and move and try to get them hitting each other. If that does not work, try again next round to get the upper hand first.
Or you can just play 1v1s to avoid off balance fights to begin with.

I agree with nerfing the frequency that someone can use the mechanic. Also, It should only ever occur if it's a 2v1, never from a 1v1. Never. However, I do think it should be there. For example, if you come across another player and your teammate dueling, instead of joining, you should either wait until you know you can deliver a finishing blow, or let them finish the duel. If your teammate loses, prevent an execution should there be one, finish off the most likely weak enemy, and revive your teammate. Don't ruin someone else's duel.

I think that this issue can be addressed by making a new execution system and either nerfing or removing Revenge mode.
The only thing that needs to be done is make it so that light attacks cause a downed effect where you can be revived and make it so Heavy attacks make it so you cannot be revived. This would make for a more enjoyable game to watch and make for more epic fights.
Tactics are an important role in this game and without a concept like this the only tactic is to outnumber your enemy and have the guy in the back revive as the others continue the assault.
