Can someone explain exactly how these stats work?
I am now reputation 2 with my Raider and have access to the weapon parts that greatly alter your stats.
Is Attack just giving me more damage? It doesnt feel much like it, actually. I just have the feeling that the defend debuff makes me ultra squishy.
Is Defend actually Life?
I think attack is straight up damage, and defend is either straight damage reduction, or reduced damage taken when parrying heavy attacks. Not sure ;o
Defence should be straight up damage reduction, as blocking heavy attacks should be block resistance. But it's bad that there is no ingame descrtiption, really needs to be added so we know for sure.
The stats are pretty ambiguous.. hopefully they add in some sort of reference or tooltips as to what each one actually does.
its pretty straight forward actually.. ( pic for reference of all the stats )
Block damage resistance - ( lessens the amount of damage you take while blocking)
Revive speed - .....speed of reviving teammates
Stamina regen -.... stamina..regeneration
Throw distance - distance at which you can throw grabbed enemies
Revenge mode attack - Attack bonus gained during revenge mode
Revenge gain by injury - ( i was a bit finicky on this one due to my gear set, Im pretty certain its revenge gained by dealing damage I didnt have the gear to see if it was taking dmg which it MIGHT be)
execution health regen - amount of HP you gain when on successful execution
block damage - amount of damage you do to a enemy while they are blocking
Spring speed - how fast you sprint
debuff resistance - how well you resist the enemys debuffs ( fairly certain this includes bleeds and poisons but again, I didnt have the gear to play with it)
revenge mode duration - how long your revenge mode last
Exhaustion recovery - how fast you exit exhaust mode
feat cooldown reduction - Rate at which your feats are able to be used again after the cooldown is activated
revenge mode defense - amount of defensive bonus you get when revenge mode is activated
revenge gain by defense - amount of revenge you gain per defensive action ( dodge, block, parry)
attack - damage you do per hit varies per light, heavy, combo
defense- decreases amount of damage you take ( from normal attacks NOT feats)
stamina cost reduction - reduces amount of stamina you use for everything.
Its better for it to be ambigous keep the formula a secret...or else it will be no fun at all.. Words are already there just read it. No need for tool tips or nerdy calculation damage indicator.. i like it the way theyre making player focusing on just playing the game. Not like those calculative rpg. Coz its better that way
Yes it does makes u strong and weak in some parts. U cant have it all. But theyve made it balance for low level as well. Very smart design if u ask me. The upgrade will change ur play style and attitude for it to work.
It is as far as I was able to find out by injury to you. Not to enemy. So you will get small amount of ravange if they hit you. Only few characters can get skill to actualy get ravange with their own attacks. Wouldnt make sance to put it in weapons on other characters or on builds that doesnt have this feat.Originally Posted by da1guren Go to original post
And I was testing it with friend and even when amount was really small you get revange if you are hit.
