I totally agree with the fact that the counter guardbreak window is too short. It also seems to me that if someone does a heavy attack when you try to guardbreak them they tank through it. Maybe its just me but that is an issue I've been struggling with.

If you GB you better hope she doesn't counter it or that it doesn't miss because the punishment for that is fatal which again, most would call OP. If you want to play an assassin and win there's no reason not to choose her. Which is why she's considered OP because your character choice should not determine chance of victory so greatly like hers currently does.
What you are saying makes a lot of sense, but so far i havent had any trouble with a PK. The only thing i really think desperately needs a change is he GB stab because it can melt health stupidly quick. Her ease of combos like you mentioned in her light attacks need work.

    Need to play more

I played a good amount of time during the closed Beta. I am not the best but do not think I am the worst. When playing with certain classes I struggled against other classes than I did playing other characters. I find certain classes counter each other easier but nothing is impossible to beat with any class. I am writing this in hope that classes do not get broken and imbalanced because I think it was in a good state as it was. You could tell who the good players were when they were on their game and they were difficult to handle, but it was possible to still handle them 1v1. However, I found them harder to beat 2v1, as they would get revenge mode so easily, it felt like even if another team mate just targeted them and did not hit them, that they would build revenge at an increased rate which I was not a fan of. Maybe it is not this way but that's how it felt in-game.
I thought everything was nicely balanced, especialy for a Beta, and this game exceeded all expectations I had for it.
I felt Dominion could get repetitive after a while, maybe a mix up of a few more maps and/or a few more interactive features, such as the spikes which you could drop with a switch, would make it a lot more exciting.
I am really looking forward to try out the new characters, especialy the Lawbringer and the Valkyrie and hope that they will mix it up even more
Key note though I believe people need more practice before saying characters need a nerf etc, I tried them all and invested more time in some than others. I saw people call certain classes over-powered then watch the same fight with different players and the outcome was totally different. You can counter anything if you can react fast enough. If you think something is op please state why and think did you do everything you could to counter this first?

Edit: I see some saying the Peacekeepers light attacks are hard to block and she can bleed too much. I have seen people deal with her by keeping her at range or punishing her when she comes in, also just totaly denying any guardbreak. Obviously depends alot on skill. Her bleeds do hurt alot but I think that is fair if you let her get hold of you. When people get better at the game they will get better at guard breaking that, and avoidiing her light attacks By either blocking, parrying or dodging, or even yet keeping her at bay. I also noticed people in Domiinion tend to just spam Light attacks alot more than they would in duels for example.
This is just my opinion but I hope people get a good chance to practice properly, maybe more in duels for the 1v1 experience before a character is nerfed.

I normally try to refrain from talking about threads concerning themselves with how the game is balanced because I only got to play the game for 1 day.

From what I have seen, the only slightly op thing may be shield block cancelling on the warlord. I think the rest is fine. I haven't run into that element myself, but I saw a streamer run into it and it was extremely powerful and there didn't seem to be any answer to it.

Peacekeeper attack initiation is a bit on the weak side, but she is a counter attack character, so I am ok with that. It does feel bad when fighting an Orochi though. However, she has stronger deadlier combos than the Orochi does, so it's all fair in the end. Hard to get her combo started, but if you get into it, it is hard for the opponent to get out. That's part of the reason why her stamina is so low. One combo of attacks can easily lead into another with her, but she can only pull off a max of 1-2 combos. Also, a combo is not R1 spam >.>. Example combos: sidestep, plunge, stab, R1, R1, grab, stab, stab, stab -> backstep, plunge, stab, R1, R2, backstep (low stamina) (could end with a grab, kick, and backstep too).

Raider is probably underpowered. Maybe there is a way to play raider that nobody is seeing yet, but slow attacks always lose to fast attacks : /. When I first got into the game, I could deflect raiders all day. That's saying something. Also, a simple block against a slower character's R1 attack is enough to leave them open to a grab. This was tested on level 3 bots like Conquerer.

Kensei seems to be a bit on the weak side too. I have only seen one good Kensei and even with their extreme reaction speed and technical abilities, they still got shat on.

I don't have the experience of a lot of other players that have been playing and still have much more to learn. I don't have the timings down for all of the characters either. However, I did spend the short time I had hardcore practicing and have been watching youtube videos from the last CBT of high level matches since the CBT ended =).

Seriously if you guy's cry over this HOW can you not cry over the nobushi's kick, conqueror bash shield and warden shoulder charge ?! They are similare mecaniques but yet those are far stronger than the warlord headbutt imo !

Seriously if you look well the headbutt combo isn't that strong next to others !

-Nobushi kick can follow up by far more attacks (who deals bleed) and combo than the warlord. It's consume stamina to you're opponement too !
-Warden shoulder charge gives an awesome combo with is 1 2 combo which can be spam ! way more stronger than warlord combo in damage and quite safe if you land an hit before chain shoulder charge. Also warden shoulder charge can be cancel for a Guardbreak
-Conqueror shield bash gives him a free hit and consume a good amount of stamina of you're foes, when charging is flail then counter in to this shield bash is quite a destructive combo, and it push really far.

Next to that what can do a warlord is.
-Headbutt to close gap and deals small amount of damage (with trust) and consume a fair amount of stamina. This combo can be spam, but can be counter by a well time side or back dodge.
    -Can be cancel for guardbreak
-Can take chase after the jump attack. Push you're opponement

Stop crying over this. it's strong i agree but just like the others similar moves, even i main warlord but still get heabutt even though i know. But if some warlord abuse of it just spam dodge just like a player who spam guardbreak spam it too or attack.

As for which classes is op i would said Valkyries ! well she was not in this beta (thanks god).

Seriously Nobushi and peacekeeper are Op at the moment but for only ONE reason Bleed Effect ! I have warned ubi in the test server (where valkyries where release) about the bleed effect, sad that they didn't change a thing. I have recommended to reduce the bleed effect or like others said to simply erased it. Someone say that it will kill the game, and that's exactly what i've said during the survey !

Bleed effect make people use the kitting strategy wich is NOT FUN inside For honor system combat (seriously). Peacekeeper is the most obvious and mostly the most hated classe because of this kind of gameplay. I'm sure that everyone as face a ****ing PK running after stab you"re guts and watch you dying ! they don't even fight ! what is the point of creating a new system combat to nothing ?! really change the PK gameplay because it's ****ing annoying and frustrating even though she is quite strong in fight (her fast attack is really strong). She got by far the most op guardbreak of the game ! thanks to the bleed effect. i forget to said that if you fail to interrup the stab you also loose you're Stamina great ! How can people said that she is balance... she need a complete rework of her gameplay (more focus on fight than running)

The nobushi is more balance imo but the main problem is her bleeding effect she has way too many hit that gives this ****ing bleed ! WHY ?! she have already fast good combo, a great range for zoning, a fast dodge with her secret guard. Why god give a bleed effect ? if well play a nobushi can poke quite safely her opponement without even fear to be retaliated. The bleed effect is way to much and make her too strong actually but without it i'm pretty sur the classe will be more balanced and still be really strong !
The head-butt is much stronger than the warden's should charge as it gets a GUARANTEED hit afterwards (which the warden doesn't) it costs very little stammina, but drains the opponents stammina (for no reason) so you can even knock people over and continue this "combo" indefinitely. That's why people are complaining and rightfully so.

I completely agree with you on the bleed effect though, it IS breaking the game and the nobushi is so strong she doesn't even need it at all.

    As a Raider "main"

this game is remarkable and they balanced it fairly well. thankyou ubisoft for giving us another epic game that i am god at.
The concussion attack is more an annoyance than it is really useful, and his unblocable attack is stupidly easy to parry and avoid, especially with an assassin such as the peacekeeper. Most of the times you'll be able to se through the stun of the concussion hit enough to avoid or block the next attack. Should we be talking about the Peacekeeper's instant attack from the top, her completely life draining guardbreak, or her unreasonably fast running attack?

6 people apparently think Warden is overpowered... I wanna hear their stories.

People claiming Raider is OP; why?
He's a hard hitter yes, but he's not fast and his attacks are some of the most telegraphed.
He's a CC character of sorts - carry/stun - but both can be avoided. And if you get thrown off a cliff --> stop standing near a cliff!
And his stamina is depleeted quite rapidly.

Warlord has short range and his longest combo is two hits! Dodge out of the way of his headbutt and you can easily punish players who abuse this move.

    There clearly us a pattern.

Fast classes with dot mechanics are considered op. The fast attacks are in fact problematic, because they can lead to the "epic stagger stabbing if death". You are not able to recover from light attacks fast enough, to raise your guard or to dash away and if you are running low on stamina, you can gb, kick/disengage and run like hell. Its in fact cheat button mashing but it is highly effective.
