    Conqueror and Peacekeeper tweaks

99% of the time I'm playing Conqueror and I enjoy the class despite it's flaws, and the game. Hopefully this doesn't create too much of a bias in my opinion.
I'm in no way a bad Conq, I destroy all other Conqs I've played against. My win rate is around 80% last I checked and KD around 1.85 mostly playing dominion.

The reason I'm making this thread is because I don't want the Conqueror to be forgotten about at launch. I think most people will see that the Peacekeeper is overtuned but I'll share my experience regardless about the most played class in the beta.

Comparatively, I think the Conqueror is a tad out of sync with the rest of the classes/mechanics and the Peacekeeper is in a tier by herself...

I could go on in great detail and I'm open to discussion but I'll just summarize my criticisms for the OP...

    Conqueror:
    Stamina costs extremely high
    Low damage using telegraphed combos
Shield bash should also give hyper armor (should have to dodge or deflect it)
    Damage resist is too low

Conclusion: Way too much stamina cost for weak damage and abilities, leaving you vulnerable. Damage resist should be much higher than other classes.

    Peacekeeper:
    Stamina costs extremely low
Damage is reasonable but extremely low risk
Bleed damage is extremely high considering it's easy to do (should require use of deflect)
Damage resist is extremely high for light armor
    Chip damage negligible

Conclusion: Extremely forgiving gameplay and looks too unrealistic and arcadey. Ruins the immersion for me.

    Overall Conclusion:

Not everything above needs to be changed. For the Conq you could increase overall damage to reward the stamina cost (my preference) or just lower stamina costs. I think in general Conq needs a bit more damage resist because he is a heavy. Conq should be 2-3 hitting light armored Assassins if he can hit them. For Peacekeeper, I think dodging/dashing/rolling should use a lot more stamina (these are cardio actions which require more stamina than strength). The character should also be damaged if they dodge into the direction of an attack. They literally step through your weapons and it looks terrible.

I completly agree with you on your points regarding the conqueror also on the other side I partly disagree with your view on the peacekeeper
in my opinion he is way too easy to play to be marked as "assassin" they should make him harder to play.
The reason Iam saying this is that Iam mainly playing the berserk (viking assassin) and I have nearly no chance to dodge enough to not get hit
never the less block. All of that is just in 1v1 in dominion Iam wrecking them

I have to ask, what spec did you use? Have you tried a Gear Level 36+ with Reduced Stamina Cost and improved Attack? I've seen some Conq's take on 3 people for over a minute just using Block Healing, Block Revenge and Injury Revenge. It takes forever to kill that build.

I can't say I mind the berserker, I think the class is in a pretty good spot but I've never played it. If I compare zerk to other assassins then zerk feels weakest to fight against right now.

I haven't gotten my gear to lvl 36+ it's around 20. That sounds like a good build and what I'm doing now.

That said, stamina cost reduction only helps in Dominion mode. I still use it for Dominion but, I've found a lower level head is better in dominion so I can keep attack, defense and stamina cost reduction as high as possible, focusing on the latter for more omni blocking in an uneven fight to trigger revenge mode. My feats are heal and stamina when killing minions, shield attacks do damage, heal on block, and catapult shot. I also take gear that gets me into revenge mode ASAP and increases block damage.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Conq is constantly fighting uneven odds because it's such a slow and reactive class. Revenge mode is too useful on Conq. Revenge is really useful for everyone so I can't see why it's a healthy build path to focus on getting revenge mode, if anything this proves that Conq is too weak and needs revenge mode to become relevant. Revenge mode = infinite stamina, uninterruptible, more damage and resist, it's a clear pattern to see Conq weaknesses. I don't mind weaknesses for my class, but Conq is becoming irrelevant as the beta goes on and people wise up to Conq cheese mechanics.

Can anyone say they've seen block damage? It must be tiny because I've never seen it happening. I would imagine Assassins at least would be destroyed if they tried to block a heavy attack from a heavy. Not at all, Assassins are far more tanky than they should be for a class using little to no armor and light weapons.

I could literally go on an on about what's damaging my experience with For Honor and/or Conq.

To summarize most of my gripes, infinite combo is awkward and needlessly hard to maintain, directional switching and attacking feels very clunky, guard break spamming looks bad and feels bad, viking throw does massive damage to stamina which already sucks on Conq, running shield bash doesn't beat running warlord leap, hit through shield during shield bash/charge, can visually dodge through weapons, infinite dodging without stamina, bleeds are a boring DoT mechanic... Just to list a few things I can think of right now. By no means can everything be changed or fixed, I just wanted to share my experience with whoever, hopefully devs, about why For Honor is feeling lame to me already.

If nothing changes then I'll just try switching classes at launch if I get the game.
