Don't Worry Xzample, Vegastrash and other.

I understand and know this kind of feelings. That i can tell you for my side. I'm taking in charge the french community... and you know how french people can be really annoying and yell all the time for anything with ours big mouth ^^'

So, i know perfectly every major point of ours community and what in words somes guys would tell directly to developper in face to face (rider, ninja, builders, etc...) and i try to do that in the best way that i could... To speak in the name of everyone. And don't worry when i say "You're ****ed up reaaaaaaly bad at the launch of Fusion, divided the community by 3 or 4 or maybe more..." and go on in this way. We feel free to tell and talk about it... Don't worry by this side...

After that, it's different on the forum. The guys must keep a certain calm and peaceful ambiant on the forum. It's better for the newcomers when he read some topics on critical point and read a good passionated discussion without insult, vulgarity and free violence... i mean, i do the same on my french forum. Everyone can speak freely and somes times... manly (i don't know if it's the right word ^^"), but in certain circonstances everyones need to be somes sort of gentleman.

But, this is certainly somes kind an elephant in the room. And it's cool to talk about this.
It better to do this kind of stuff around a beer or two ^^'

But don't worry, i think we have passing the message from everyone in the community

Rude, I've thrown in the towel on new repetitive threads...plus, after my last infraction I'm treading on thin ice. It's discouraging when a company goes months without news and leads you along with "hold tight" and "soon" comments. Things should simply be more clear. It's not much to ask for a game we have dedicated way too much time to. We aren't owed anything, but the old RL would have communicated better...that's about all on that. I'm calling e3 this year.

Max it must be very easy for you to complain about Individuals never being brutally honest.

This forum is basically dead, but it'd be interesting to hear the thoughts of the community on this "inner circle" system Redlynx has chosen for quite some time now.
Does nobody else question the nature of having people give feedback on their product after having a paid flight to the studio, and getting a look at the next Trials?

The trip was a workshop, We were all very vocal about voicing our differing opinions about what was shown, demonstrated and proposed. None of our feedback was hindered by the fact the trip was paid for.
This is as usual a conclusion you have leaped to because of your own personal nature. You label something as an “Inner Circle”, I am interjecting you right now and telling you that there is more than one way of providing feedback, criticism and counter Ideas to a satisfactory personal level than being brutal and doing it in such a way that makes people view you in the way they do.

While I know we have some skilled players in that circle, that skill becomes irrelevant when the priority becomes "How to maintain this relationship with Redlynx" as opposed to "How to make sure the next Trials is good". This is the problem.

Having the notion of this trip being about "How to maintain relationship with Redlynx" is a thought in your mind that you have manifested as fact, when In truth it couldn't be further from reality. The entire trip had the main focal point on how to make the future a resounding success for all. Developers, Publishers, Veteran Players and New players.
Having a thought in your mind and manifesting it as fact and spreading it around the entire community is something you often do, I will link to a document example at the bottom of this post.

Unfortunately, the people who aren't afraid to be brutally honest are the ones that will never be welcome to these types of events.

In my “honest & brutal” opinion you would never mesh well inside a group's community driven dynamic. And like I have already stated there is more than one way of providing feedback, criticism and counter Ideas to a satisfactory personal level than being brutal.

This isn't me being negative or trying to stir the pot. This is my genuine concern with this system Redlynx has in place which I consider inherently flawed and counter-intuitive.

Ending your Initial post with stating that everything above isn’t you being negative or stirring the pot may distract some eyes from the underlying nature here, To which I say; being negative, stirring the pot, purposefully getting under people's skin for your own humour, being relentless in not stopping until someone sees something the exact same way you do is exactly what you have always excelled at.

Before you reply with certain "Developers or Individuals" are too sensitive to my nature:
I am sharing this document to give people a choice to get more clarity on what exactly my previous statement means, if they want to know.

My advice to you Max is realise why you are a magnet to everything you share and the false statements you materialise in your mind.

I am not afraid to speak my mind when I feel it is needed.
I will not sit by and watch a repeat of a few Individuals tainting this community with the nature of their forums posts as has been the case on these forums on many occasions since 2013

Community moving forward into the future is Everything.

Its a litle hard to be "very excited about the future " when the rest of us know absolutely nothing.
The comunication from redlynx to this community about the next trials game is simply terrible.

I don't want to be negative here, but I see the point that xzamplez and Vegastrash are making.

The ultimate PR victory for RL would be to take one of the most outspoken critics and show him something truly impressive and promising to take back to the core community.
