    Stats explanation

    Hi guys,

The reason of this post is to know more about the stats. I dont know u but i have some "understanding issues" with some of them. I will put them in orden to see if we can get some answers.

    Helm

    -Debuff resistance (L
essens the effects of feats such as Berserker's Doom Banner")
-Revenge mode duration (The maxium lapse of time u will be on revenge mode cause of the injuries and the blocked hits)
-Exhaustion recovery (When your stamina goes to zero and you keep hitting, you get blocked or recieve an attack that leaks you stamina you get exhausted. Everything turns like grey and you cant run except you have the Orochi skill to run although u are with this condition)

    Chest

-Execution health regen (When you execute someone using the Q or E for the ones who uses keyboard u get health regen, so this stat is the maxium health u will recieve)
    -Block damage (I
s the damage you pass on when u get blocked)
-Sprint speed (The maxium speed u will reach sprinting)

    Arms

    -Block damage resisntance (
    Resistance versus Block Defense)
-Revive speed (When ur partner is dead u can revive him pressing the E button on the keyboard, so this stat is the speed u will revive him in the battlefield. If u get attacked it interrupts)
-Stamina regen (The attacks, dodges and blocks consumes stamina. This stat is the speed the stamina will regen)

    Blade

-Attack (Maxium amount of damage u can deal)
-Defense (The hardness you have i think. It should affects the blocks and damage recieved)
-Stamina cost reduction (The amount of stamina every hit, block or dodge consumes)

    Hilt

-Feat cooldown reduction (The feat's cooldown. Every hero has special habilities or feats u can customize. When u r playing Dominion mode you can reach four levels and u get one feat per level)
-Revenge mode defense (The additional defense u get when u enter revenge mode)
-Revenge gain by defense (Playing any mode you can see in the lower left side of the screen a bar that fills up when u block a hit, so we can say u gain revenge when this happens. This stat is the revenge speed gained cause of any defense movement)

    Guard

    -Throw distance (R
efers to the distance you can "throw" an opponent after guard breaking them")
-Revenge mode attack (The additional attack u get when u enter revenge mode)
-Revenge gain by injury (The revenge u gain when u get injuried)

As you can see there are a lot of stats that are obvious. I just tried to organize them in an easy way to see the full picture and figure it out.

I hope u can understand it proporly. I tried my best explaining in english.

    Block Damage

I read Block Damage as damage you INFLICT on someone when you block their attack, while Block Damage Resistance will negate this when it is used on you. Dunno, could be wrong.

This is correct, though I think you meant when "they block your attack". Blocking does not inflict damage as far as I know. Also, Debuff resistance lessens the effects of feats such as Berserker's Doom Banner.

Throw distance refers to the distance you can "throw" an opponent after guard breaking them.

Edit: after re-reading the quote, I think you might not understand. Block damage is the lessened damage you inflict when someone blocks your attack. Block damage resistance increases your defense when you block attacks.

one thing that needs to be taken into account in all the blocking stuff is the following:

there are 2 kinds of blocks:

    1) just matching guard-position to the enemies attack-guard-position -> you take less damage, but enemy can just continue his chain
    2) matching the guard-position AND pressing heavy-attack at the right time -> this will interrupt the enemies chain and knock him back slightly

i have no clue what the block-stats actually refer to, but the whole stats need some official tutorial or write-up ASAP!

also, can you edit the OP and add some detail on for example exhaustian-recovery? (like "what is exhaustion" in the first place etc)

also, has anyone tested "defense" stat in depth yet? is it basically a "- X% damage" ?

Are you sure about this Ramscoop?. I was confused about a chest giving you attack stats instead defense ones. So maybe its like you say and those are offensive stats and the damage you recieve when you block any hit depends on the defense in the sword stat.. that could be probably correct?

Im not sure about this sayi50. I mean, im confused bro.. i dont understand why u need a stat to do more damage when u get blocked instead a chest stat, defensive gear, to get less damage when u block any attack. The damage should depends on attack. And the defense in the blade stat and the gear stat but im not sure.

Some attacks only get 99% of their damage blocked for example and still do the 1%(Chip damage). Increasing Block Damage increases that small 1% to 2% or more. Block Damage Resistance probably is there to counter that increase and push it back down to 1%.

    So in other words:

Block Damage = The damage you can "pass through" block.
Block Damage Resistance = Counters Block Damage so less damage is passed through.
I undertand u but im not sure about it. I mean is confusing, your explanation is logic but the other guys or mine are not that crazy anyways. Two stats disputing 1, 2 or 3 percent of the damage.. I dont see that really importante to be a "stat". Where plays the defense here? haha we need an official explanation.
