Additional Features to make it feel like a Champion of warfare instead of a duelist

Personal dueling skill actually matter a lot in this game. A good duelist can run around and claim control point while harassing and kill solo opponents. I started off as a duelist and I found that the skill transfer WAY too much in Dominion. Which is a good thing and a bad thing. I agree that player skills needs to matter, but so should strategy. Is For Honor going to be a fighting game with a free roaming map OR is For Honor going to be a MOBA with fighting element?

The former means you would need more moves, more cancels, more Street Fighter esque elements; the latter means you will need more strategy.

I left a comment in the Dominion mode part regarding possible upgrades to the Dominion mode and I also have some suggestions for customization that can help with that as well.

The characters are supposed to be... Heroes, right? Knights have their own troops and can field their own small armies? In this game, they don't feel like leaders of an army, but rather just 4 really good fighters in a sea of incompetent little minions in control point B (who serve more as decorations than a real force). What if... You can customize and bring your own troops !?

What if instead of spawning X random troops, you spawn 4x amount of troops where each 1/4 of them are armed by their respective heroes? So in your customization menu, you can upgrade / change their armor, weapon types (spears for range; bow for even more range with less damage; axe of major damage, but you move slower)? So now instead of a vanilla group of soldiers doing absolutely nothing in mid, you can have 4 heroes with their PERSONAL divisions. You can be the heavy armored Knight champion who called upon his houseguards of 40 strong armored pikemans... Or you can be the legendary Orochi archer champion with his personal division or archers?

i think the specialized minions are a fantastic idea and hope the devs see this and do something like this in the main game, or even just an update

    Amazing idea

OMG that sounds absolutely amazing!!! It's probably waaaay too late in development to implement that into the game, but I would love to see it as an update later on down the line. I would love if we could customize our own divisions, but I would be satisfied if we at least got our own little squad of soldiers. I think that, if they can implement it, we should also get to command to our soldiers, or at least issue some basic commands like "follow me", "stay and guard here", or "attack this person". How great would that be!? Imagine playing a Raider and getting to charge into a fight with your own raiding party. Imagine playing a Conqueror, taking a point, and being able to command your squad to guard it while you go help out at mid. Imagine playing an Orochi and getting to station your troop of archers on some high ground to shoot down onto Point B, or stationing them to provide covering fire while you dash into the enemy backline.

It could add some fun tactical decision making about where you want your troops, and if you don't want to deal with it, you can always just command them to follow you around or to help the other soldiers at B. Plus they could even make the game more interesting while fighting against them. Troops stationed on side points could give you something to do while capturing, besides just standing there. You can possibly even have one of those heroic moments of breaking through or sneaking behind the frontline to take down a troublesome troop of archers that have been harassing your soldiers.

I would love to see this kind of thing added to the game, even if it had to be it's own, separate game mode.

I second this, archers aside. (Unless they do little to no damage to heroes, then it's fine)
