I had issues with the auto setting for resolution. For anyone needing help setting this look at the default path:

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\For Honor\options.ini

Change the following lines to your desired setting. I had to lower mine as it was killing frame rates at 4k.

Display0_Height=1080
Display0_Width=1920

720p = 1280 x 720
1080p = 1920 x 1080
1440p = 2560 x 1440
2160p = 3840 x 2160
