The Nobushi and "bleed" in general.

Strong bleed effect, range, lots of evasive capabilities and pretty nice combos.
    The Nobushi.

Dozens of threads about the same thing: "nerf nobushi >>:[ or no buy"

    So? What now?
I personally think, Nobushi should be slower. Not too much, but slower.
Or tone down the bleed effect (make it last less, do less damage) a little bit. It's pretty strong and you easily can stack it with all those relatively-easy-to-pull-off-combos.
Or lower the bleed damage but increase the "raw" damage.

After all, this is a forum. It'd be nice to hear your opinion about Nobushi and "bleed" in general. (Totally not copied from the title)

maybe just remove the "do more damage to an already bleading target" passive ... i feel like applying a second bleed while the first one is still up also benefits from that, which leads to huge bleeds from easy to land attacks.

Not bad idea, but like that she'd need a little more "raw damage", I think.

I think simply making bleed not being able to kill would fix a lot of problems, especially in 1v1/2v2. 99% of Nobushis just poke you till you are at the point of bleeding out and run away. In Dominion you can run to heal, but as it is it's just an unfun mechanig for 1v1/2v2. Also make everything not close, since you have 0% chance of making a low hp comeback against a nobushi when poisoned.

Absolutely agree with the original post. It's tragically funny to see right now when people who I beat EASILY with every other character in a 1v1 will change to Nobushi for a rematch and then I am having a hard time. That bleed effect is so overpowered it's ridiculous, and it comes with a move that is lightning fast AND has range. Nobushi is the ultimate spam machine right now, closely followd by peacemaker. I think bleed needs to be adjusted in how much damage it does and also Nobushi and Peacemaker need to have their health further reduced.

I was actually quite irritated by how bleed works in this game. I thought it would work differently, like if you get hit with a bleed attack, it does a little bit of damage, but every attack that hits you AFTER it, like for the next 3-5 seconds or so, does more damage than usual. This would make sense, because it would mean that if you are bleeding, you need to retreat to avoid taking more damage.

As it is now, a bleed attack is basically a strong attack with the speed of a light attack. Since there is absolutely no way to stop the bleeding, I don't see what the point is...

I agree with slowing her down

She is a "Zoner" = Try to outrange enemy start attacks ouside enemy range and let em run into it

but atm she couldnt give a **** and start attacks point blank and still hit faster than most other classes.

Bleed mechanic is a way to give classes high damage without one-shotting enemy in 1sec (creating lots of frustration). She should keep the bleed but the additional damage on bleeding targets should be removed.

Maybe add the feature to remove Bleeds upon killing the enemy who applied the bleed effect to you. (sthap and die i want to live !!! )

Another Problem is her Hidden Stance into R1 R1 (if you hit first R1 second R1 is 100% Hit?!) and you skip the first R1 with Hidden Stance (the slowest part of the R1 R1 R1 combo)

I agree with most parts, guys.
Speed, Health and Blood-Effect-Stacking should probably be the "categories" that should get a slight to significant nerf.

But if Nobushi gets too slow, she won't be able to keep her distance between her and the enemy. Lots of hereos have rushes or attacks that make them "slide" towards the enemy.

On the other hand, Nobushi is "associated" with a viper/venomous (or poisonous, don't know the exact difference, ain't my first language) snake. Those are quick, venomous/or poisonous, and when they bite they "fling" towards their prey.
So, speed, bleed/"poison" and range are Nobushi's key elements. And those shouldn't get nerfed too much.

Stamina, stamina consumption and the blood-effect-stacking should be first priority.
    Speed and Health second priority.

    (Still, after all, my opinion.)
(And sorry for writing such essay)

If you execute someone who applied a bleed that would otherwise have killed you, you will survive, because of the health regen. So go for that heavy attack kill. Just a friendly tip.

You know you can dash after Nobushi's first attack right?

She has arguably the worst combo's in the game due to there being dead frames after the first light attack, if you'e getting hit by combo's often from a Nobushi, you're doing it wrong.

I agree that bleed feels bad, I wouldn't be against complete removal of Bleed from the game and replace with raw damage.

    Talking to me? If yes....

Well, thanks but that's nothing new to me. I'm a Nobushi/Orochi Player myself. I do quite have some experience in countering them.
I know my weaknesses, and therefore their weaknesses too. I know how I can get countered, therefore I know how to counter them too.
