    19 second accidental rogue

Really annoying how rogues actually get an advantage in battle as everyone scared of going 19 second. Fix it you ****'s!

I doubt it'll see much change because being Rogue and dying as a Rogue, has no penalties whatsoever...so other than being a "small" "nuisance" to players that end up being killed cause of that 19 seconds counter....its "not a big deal"...

Nor should it be a big deal. Adding penalties to one person in PVP and no penalties to the other person is stupid. All it does is create run away sissys or roof hiding chumps. XP, keys, and DZ funds should be completely removed from the game. People act like rank 99 means they are winners. No....it just means they ran away like a little biatch 1000s of times.

If your idea of PVP is running across the entire map every 30 minutes then keep up the "more penalties for the meanie rouges" nonsense.

So this mechanic alone breaks so many rogue and manhunt fights, it's not even funny anymore.

For me personally, this is the biggest gripe I'm having with PVP in The Division ( well, this and the ridiculous lack of anticheat ). I play pretty much only PVP these days, I like hunting rogues, but this design is beyond stupid, I wish they would at least address it somehow, but as usual, crickets...
Forgive me, but I see it exactly the opposite way. That's the fun thing. Got an accidental rogue timer? Shoot everyone as everyone's going to shoot you anyhow. I mean it's the actual unpredictability of the whole place after all.

Totally agree. Just get rid of the 19-second timer. Either you are rogue by downing or killing another agent, or you're not rogue. Can't get anymore simpler than that. Make this change happen!

Couldn't agree more. Sick of being disavowed because another Agent ran across my field of fire during an extraction firefight and caught a couple of bullets. At least make KILLING a non-hostile Agent the trigger to go Rogue - not light accidental friendly fire.

So I can follow you shoot you down do almost no health and have the NPC down you and not go rogue? I can already hear the complains about this one.

they should offer a Friendly Fire toggle to people who wish not go rogue, as mentioned, the "Benny Hill show" seems to ensue after a few accidental rogues happen in a large group...... but as soon as you do that, a whole bunch of people would say that is unfair as making people go rogue on accident is a mechanic they can exploit when they go rogue themselves.

maybe instead they should expand the FF to your own team, that would make a few people a little more cautious about spraying and praying and tossing grenades at random everywhere.........

Maybe, but I don't know that they will ever create any system that someone with enough deviant dedication can't find a way to exploit.

I agree with the above, and I have even said it myself - a simple "opt out of the lunacy" toggle would solve the whole mess.

The toggle you talk about drives people on this forum into chaos. How dare you talk about a PVE DZ for you? Junk like that. It personally would not affect me in my game play.
