    Why is there bleed damage?!?

Seriously I dont get the Point of bleed damage! It seems like its only there to make OP attacks seem like they do less damage! All it creates is draws! I dont get the point of it! And there is not a single counter to it! you can not bandade yourself or something! The only thing against it is a Perk in Dominion! Stupid thing is: not everyone likes Dominion thous not getting that perk! Its just a ton of damage over a duration of time instead of all at once!!!! Its SO BAD!

Learn to block parry and dodge, considering the people that apply bleed die in 2-4 hits its a pretty decent way to balance out the small fast guys and big strong guys.

The problem is PK's grab bleed being too rewarding for very little effort. It would be okay if it didn't do 1/3 of your health.

Even though there are ways to combat it by timing blocks when you're grabbed.. most good PKs are usually going to get that full bleed off if they manage the grab.

Dont get grabbed then, or learn to block it.

Bleed dmg allows heroes to use 'hit and run' strategy forcing their opponent to attack them in order to throw a parry combo. But in my opinion it should deal dmg slower and not be able to deal lethal dmg.

The point is putting some fear to small characters.
I played with a friend who had just started today. His exact words were "Your guy is too small, I'll cleave him in two, easy" and all it took was one dodge-bleed and he understood why bleed's important on PK.
Berserkers light infinity string is the same,to a more obvious degree.

Bleed grabs are hard to master and, admittedly, easy to escape.

As a PK, I'd be happy to lose fatal bleeds, Usually just ruins an easy execution anyway.

That being said, the game is done well enough that all PKs bleeds have a counter.

Well, there's no counter to "raw damage" as well. Except blocking, dodging and parrying. No difference for "bleed damage".
Bleed even gives the enemy an advantage. Instead of raw damage that'll kill you "instantly", you still got time to defeat your enemy. Heal yourself. Flee.

Currently I see fatal bleed as the best counter to overly defensive playstyles.
Can't block until your health regens so you start to make clumsy mistakes.
    That's another reason for bleed.
