Points get distributed evenly if you don't choose them after a match.
Thank you for that information, I was not aware of that.In one of the Loading screen tutorials it says that if you dont use your faction stuff it automatically gets put into all available sections evenly, so this post is kinda redundant.
But one thing is to do it "automatically" in even amounts and it's another entirely to actively decide where your assets go depending on the current front lines, which is what will make a difference in the end and will dictate the result.
So, going back to my OP which is about participating, it is not "redundant".
Thanks for the info, I was wondering what is happening with my points after my first match, because somehow I am not able to assing assets for it (it does only work for my #2+ matches)Originally Posted by Duckbit Go to original post
Perhaps how it could work is that you pledge yourself to a particular faction and only when you play a class that belongs to that faction do you get war effort points to play. So if your a knight and you play a viking class, you wont be awarded any war effort points. Only if you are a knight and play a knight class.
I cannot say for sure as the only info I have is what is mentioned in the video, but it doesn't seem to limit what characters you can use, only what faction can you support on the mapPerhaps how it could work is that you pledge yourself to a particular faction and only when you play a class that belongs to that faction do you get war effort points to play. To be honest I only started placing assets after I had them explained to me by a friend. They need to be clearer on how it works.
I have been watching some streamers but to be honest I haven't seen anybody use them either.Originally Posted by drosdelnoch Go to original post
All I know is what I saw in the tutorial video I linked in my OP.
On the faction war page it seems to only be tracking each factions general, not individual stats.. which sucks
The problem with this approach, is that you're not properly defending/attacking territories, and are spreading your assets where they may not currently be needed. The system does have flaws, and it wasn't really spelled out too well when entering the game, which may have been more helpful to get it off the ground.Originally Posted by rcwd Go to original post
