    Running Away

    It keeps happening. You approach another player. Will they fight? No, they run. Run, run, run.

    What is the point of the game if they won't even fight? Why do they always run? It's completely ridiculous.

    I just had a game of Dominion where a Peacekeeper, left alone in sudden death, chose to just sprint circles around the map.

    Just running. For 10+ minutes. Running. Doing nothing, accomplishing nothing. Frustrating everyone, my team especially, but his own team as well, who had to just sit there and watch him put on a track meet.

    Something must be done.

    Agreed, honestly. There's been countless times where (especially in a 4v4 match) I'll be fighting someone, get them down to one or two hits left, and they'll just run. You can chase them, but unless you're playing as a samurai, you wont be able to hit them. Sadly, I don't know how much they'll be able to do with this. Stamina depletion, sure, but then as a chaser, you'd also run out of stamina. Maybe add some kind of 'in combat' system where if you run away, you get penalized in score/level.

    No running or living to fight another day is a tactic especially with a character with low defense. If 4 of you couldnt kill them then there is a problem. You dont even need to execute the last one or anyone not able to revive . However each character should have a 1 hit kill option especially someone that looks like assassin creed so much. FYI I've never used peacekeeper. Haven't wasted the steel on her.

    living to fight another day would be great if you could leave the battle field, but sadly you cannot, in this case this person was just prolonging a loss unnecessarily when just about everybody in the lobby just wanted to get on to the next game already. idk what they could do that wouldn't break the comeback system but this is something that really shouldn't be happening.

    Understood but NEVER been in a game were 1 was left and 4 couldn't kill. There is definitely an issue there. Time limit after team break if less than half are dead and can't be revived? Forfit vote option if this situation presents? Give constructive feedback with solutions and you guys help with saying what you would have liked as solution. Running away doesn't need to be taken out because of that.

    anyone who saying that running away isnt a problem, i can GUARANTEE you they are the ones who do it themselves. its a massive problem in dominion and its just lame. grow up and fight like a man. take a hint in the games title FOR HONOUR.

    Happens to me all the time i play conqueror & nearly everytime i fight a samurai they get a couple of hits in i hit them a couple then they run. I don't chase im to slow lol so when im fighting samurai i try to get them in a corner or throw them of something.

    Running shouldn't be taken away, sometimes you can get enough room to ress a teammate or the like. But I agree that measures against just running around when all is lost is needed. Examples on such measures could be forfeit vote or a debuff to your running speed that slowly ramps up when team is breaking. Call it "Exhausted" or something.

    Perhaps some of this is solved by the special abilities? I haven't really experimented with them yet, but I did see there are some ranged attacks you can unlock..

    I haven't played the game enough to know yet, so I'm just guessing. But there do seem to be quite a few specials to unlock...
