The chat controls are a little bit of a nightmare. Between having to press T instead of just 'Enter' (which, as far as I know, only submits the message), and the fact that Capitalization brings up the map overlay menu (the Shift key), it means that typing messages is very unresponsive and awkward. Having to use CAPSLOCK every time I want to capitalize my Proper Nouns is quite an inconvenience, not to mention if I ever want to exclaim Something! then I'm forced to use a period or just have a map overlay shoved in my face.

That shift thing bugs me to no end. Has no-one tested this game on PC before? Sometimes I accidentally hit T when activating revenge mode, which is probably the worst time to be stuck in a chat box. Just moving the keybind to enter like you suggested would fix that.

I also agree. This should be changed.
And another issue id like to see improved for pc is the Friends control. Why i cannot click on a person and say add friend? This should be implented.
Also that you have to go in the ubisoft menu to go into a group is annoying. Maybe this will not be an issue anymore when the group exit bug is fixed but still there could be an easier way to replay to an invite. For example go to social menu and accept there. I would appreciate that.

you can bind chat to "Enter" in the control menu, you have bindable keys dude
