I have to admit I am surprised at all the issues people seem to be having with connection for this game. Me nor any of my friends have had any major issues with servers. Over this Beta we might of had 3 or 4 random disconnects which didn't cause us any harm. I am not sure why we did not have any issues like many people seem to have but I am guess it is because of geographical locations of some people??
FYI, Out-of-Touchsoft won't budge on this, they prefer to live in 2003 and not 2017. So, no matter how bad it gets, they will take the cheaper route, make money at launch, and not care to maintain the player base after the initial sales.
Welcome to Out-of-Touchsoft!!
Also, when is Vivendi going to follow through with that "hostile" take over? Because at this point, it sounds like a saving grace more than anything else.
Well i got in 20 matches 9 Disconnects, that realy bothers me , also when u are in a fight against another player and in the moment u will dodge or block the window Pops-Up that the connection is struggling because the "host" player left the game, and u get hit/killed because of that , sorry but that is realy dump. I would prefer Dedicatet servers too.
This cannot be mentioned often enough.
With an AAA game by a major publisher that is supposed to have a strong community we need dedicated servers to be able to play without constant game instability. This takes so much fun out of the game that the player base size will drop extremely fast after launch.
This is something that cannot be solved by other means, so I highly recommend you deliver this solution or the For Honor franchise will die within 3 months after the release of this game.
I was really hyped for this game and was very happy to get into beta.
But due to this p2p I cancelled my pre order.
The combat itself is very nice and even though I would appreciate a bit more content, I was ready to pay for a game that just serves nice pvp combat.
For that dedicated servers are a necessity to me.
I hope you will change that some day, then you can count me in again.![]()
Yep dedicated servers would be great. But for now with about two weeks to go I won't be buying this game. It likes gaming on the cheap.

I've just jumped onto the forum to post, because for the last hour I played dominion on Xone and could not finish a match without being booted. And it's not just a kick at the game's onset, but right before completion frequently as well. I find the stability is the worst with dominion against players - against AI seems to have a higher success rate, but that may just be chance.
I think I would love the game, and if it wasn't for this issue would preorder gold. However I'm going to wait and won't purchase unless the stability appears to be a non-issue after release.
I've also played Division from Day 1 (after preordering with season pass), and the connectivity I'm seeing here pales in comparison to any issues I've seen in that, regardless of all of the salt of the community.
Not sure this will be resolved if it isn't at this point, but here's hoping. Otherwise I'll just keep writing love letters to CDPR instead.
*Edit to note that my worst connectivity has been when it's off peak time for my location (AU). And to note that it isn't an issue with my connection, which can do many other things
**TL;DR Needs servers, currently not playable due to fail connectivity, therefore not worth purchase.
The past 6 Dominion games I've joined have ended up kicking me to the main menu screen with a connection error. At least 4 of them crashed before the beginning cutscene even finished and I was literally just in a server where this happened:
What are you guys running the servers on!? Toasters!?
cylons would have better processing power ...*:>
+1 for this thread.
otherwise the game is gonna die extremly fast after release.
