    The conqueror.

    I must say, I haven't played this game for long. I've 12 hours with the conqueror, but I feel as if he needs a buff. "Oh you just need to play the other classes hurr durr because of XYZ they're all different" Before you drop a wagonload of rage at me, hear me out. The conqueror (oh, and this post is possibly also true for the warlord, can't tell tho, haven't played it) is a defensive class. The main concept is that you're a wall that blocks most of the incoming fire and retaliates when the time is right. Yeaaaah, except not really..

    Problem number one:Attack speed.
    The conqueror's attack speed is so slow that your enemy can block your light attack immediately initiated after their attack was blocked. What. The ****. If I block an attack, I should at least be awarded with a light attack's worth of dmg onto the enemy, which is not very much, considering the conqueror's petty dmg. Note:This 'privilege' I want isn't true for all classes, but considering how ****ing hard it is to dodge some lightning fast assassin and nobushi attacks, I believe some rewards would be due. Oh, and onto the next point...

    Problem number two:Attack dmg.
    Now you might be saying "Duh, he hits like a truck, dude! That chargeup flail twoshots assassins!" Yeah right, except it only works against absolute dumbnuts. If you start charging a flail, one of three things can happen:
    You launch it at the enemy - they easily counter it.
    You wait to counter an enemy's attack with it to launch it, and they just guardbreak the **** out of you. (which you can't counter since you're charging)
    You wait to counter an enemy's attack with it and they just wait for you to lose stamina for free.

    The chargeup flail is worthless against any intelligent opponent. Which is bad since compared to that, the light and even heavy attacks are trash-tiers of damage.

    Problem number three:Surprise.
    The conqueror can not have the element of surprise, which is oh so important in this game, since they only have one playstyle. If you're up against a peacekeeper, they have a variety of things they can do:Rush poke you then run away and try to wittle you down, get in your face, try to parry your attacks and retaliate etc. A conqueror has no such thing. He cannot go on the attack because of his slow ***. This means an immediate disadvantage against most classes. In dominion, 2v2 and the first 1-2 rounds of a 1v1 you are immediately the underdog because you have no idea what the enemy will do, meanwhile you have two choices:Be defensive, or try to charge their *** and get immediately wrecked. The "randomly break guard mode and ****ing sprint shield charge them" cheese sometimes works, but it's not very reliable.

    Don't get me wrong, I don't think the conqueror is terrible. It's just that the most they can do is be a wall that you can't hit, but will never be able to successfully hit you back. Even with this I have a positive 54% winrate on him, but it is mainly because:1.On dominion, I hold up 2-4 people all the time alone, allowing my team to focus on points and other targets. 2:On 2v2 brawl, I got lucky and got bad opponents and good teammates 3:On 1v1... oh wait, I lose those. Except when the enemy's bad or I cheese someone off a cliff.

    Please, just give a tad bit faster attack speed to the conqueror, just so he can kill someone. Thanks.

    P.S. I know the immediate heavy attack when you block something is a powerful move, but it's not undodgeable and very hard to pull off.

    lol i stopped reading after the first point

    did you even read the text in the tutorial? just blocking is not going to get a you free hit especially on faster heroes. You need to parry.

    Parrying is impossible versus any hero that has light attacks. (Spoiler:All of them.) They would already require hacking to achieve such reaction times, and they can also feign in one direction and then instantly attack from another. Parrying isn't an option vs anyone with a brain.
    Edit:Oh yeah, also forgot to mention parries are blockable too.

    His base damage does seem a little low, the rest of his kit is fine though IMO.

    Seems like the warlord does a lot more damage per swing while having almost the same level of defense.

    Yeah. The warlord also has a faster heavy attack than the conqueror's light attack. It's pathetic.
