I love warden, balance wise the only thing I could wish for was for some kind of side dash attack, like kensei's or berserker's. warden has a strong frontal assault focus that feels somewhat limiting. Also I think there was a bug with the second hit on an up heavy/light combo: it seemed like my opponent made a successful block on the second hit cause you see their stance change appropriately and hear the sword clash audio, but then a split second later the animation changes to a hit. I dunno if it's a bad connection or something but my opponents noticed it too.
Conqueror seems solid, but after playing warlord I'm kinda jelly it has i-frames for it's heavy attacks but the flail user doesn't. Seems like it'd be more appropriate for the weapon that literally cannot stop, and it would balance out conqueror's inability to feint
Didn't play peacekeeper, but it's still hard to fight. It's light attacks come in fast and the grab and stab combo seems to apply too much bleed for how easy to pull off and disengage right after. Had more trouble with it than either nobushi or orochi
I feel like knights are too over powered in terms of tanking. They have that shout that are almost unlimited which makes them so hard to kill.
As a fellow warden player I agree man. Some of the unblockable flame moves ALL the other classes pull off against us compared to what we have is not really that fair. Our fighter needs another move other than that, compared to everybody else, shoulder charge which is fairly hit or miss and if you miss..... Yeah the dodge and still getting hit with the unblockable moves is a thing for me also. That raider grab and run halfway across the field move needs a tweak. I'm PK main for now, and it bothers me how many people say she's OP for things like her guardbreak damage, side step, or lunge. Like besides her guard break stabs, she does the least damage and has the least range and health in the entire game, Most of her OFFENSIVE initation tactics involve moves that can easily be countered if one simply bothered to learn how she works.
I've played people who I can just spam guard break, side step attack, and lunge with and win, and I've played others who know how to guard break, and know that my lunge will always hit up and can be dodged so if I'm at a far distance, they will always be safe. And that my side step attack will always hit left or right depending on the direction. They just block/parry me.
Most of the damage I'm able to do against someone that's actually decent is getting predicting/reacting to the attack they're going to do, and parrying/deflecting into stabs. And using my small 2 hit WEAK light attack combo as in-between damage. I literally have to do multiple parries and deflecting in succession to be able to kill anyone who actually knows how to prevent guard breaking and side step attacks.

Please Developers if you are reading this, do NOT nerf her just because the majority of people don't know how to guard break, or counter attacks that can be easily blocked/dodged/parried.

Ok so people complaining about the PK side step are wrong but you complaining about the orochi side step is justified? You should follow your own advice and learn how to prevent side step attacks. I could make the argument the breserker could use a slight buff against the PK because the zerk can't start a chain when the PK hits a light attack on a heavy or that after i get a deflect GB i don't get a free light attack when the PK can. Every assassin has to do multiple blocks to kill anyone who can prevent guard breaking and side step attacks. This is not exclusive to the PK you would realize that if you played any other assassin.
Please devs, if you're reading this, DO nerf her and ignore the players who only played one assassin and don't understand how the assassin class works and insist that the majority of people who play this game simply aren't as good as they are and have no idea what they are talking about. If you could also give a slight buff to orochi's and breserker against the PK for whatever reason you feel like. Also give yourselves pay raises and 2 month vacation, after you solve world hunger.
Hi all, just a few comments to throw around when thinking about the polls and overpowered classes.
Some may agree or disagree feel free to have your say. My thoughts are these (I have a science & R&D background). So for me to make unbiased judgements when considering if a class (character) is overpowered or not we need to consider a number of things that help us to quantify and take out subjective opinions. For example it seems like people are complaining about the assassin/hybrid classes like the Peacekeeper, Noboshi, Orochi and a few others.. I think we need to keep in mind that every class in the game has a specific role type and it will depend what type of game you are playing (also level and gear, and players skill etc) that will bring out the best in each characters abilities and skill sets not to mention your game PING. These characters may be good in some scenarios and weak in others.
To be honest to me these overpower polls are a waste of time because everyone's experience, level and skill of game play is different so at best these polls only provide unreliable subjective feedback that provide misleading information because the information has not been received in a controlled setting (eg conducted in a controlled setting with people at similar skill and knowledge levels of their characters playing under every gaming scenario)
To give a fair unbiased view on if a character is overpowered or under powered we need to keep in mind what the characters role is in the game. Obviously an assassin role should be best in 1 v 1 situations (Cmon its an assassin). You will notice that those same classes are glass cannons and are difficult to play against multiple players (1 v 2 or more). For example in dominion I think their best role is in defending zones or sneaking to kill other single players on the battlefield. Against multiple players these classes are under powered! So it balances out in the overall experience of the game. This is not taking into consideration how the end game functions with gear and level either.
To really give fair feedback that does not cause unnecessarily nerfs that will destroy a character you really need to control test these classes with groups of players that have a similar level of skill and character knowledge under the different conditions and battlefields offered in the game. Anything else is subjective and useless for determining if a character needs fixing or not.
I played the Conqueror and loved him like I did in the Alpha. Whether it be I was just using more of his abilities or changes were made, I really felt like I just flew through stamina. If I tried to play conservative in 1v1s it was not too bad as long as I was able to wait out my stamina regen. 4v4 was where I really felt the burn though. I was always low on stamina. I think it might just be getting use to the more Jab like plays rather than a constant stream.
Its almost balanced tbh. Remove bleeding for some blades or give it to all, this makes no sense. Then also give some perk to bludgeonning weapons like reduce armor or something. I would just remove bleeding buff their damage a little, end of story and no more kiting poking and fleeing
