Dude. It's war. I hate ganking and mob-running as much as the next guy but in a war, skills will only go so far. It's tactical to use your environment and numbers to your advantage. If you don't like people playing to win, why are you playing a competitive game?

If you want to fight a WAR mode then expect WAR strategies. It's not 1v1 1v1 1v1 1v1..........

I'll just quote these two as they sum up my opinion on 4v4.

I'm also one of the people that prefer double 1v1s ending in winner vs winner if it turns out that way but the mode is called "Brawl", not "Doubles". I'm not going to complain when an opponent comes out of nowhere and smacks me in the side of the head (okay, I will, but only briefly in my head) nor will I complain if my ally is taken down and it becomes a 2v1 (okay, I will, but only briefly, in my head, at my ally failing to kill their enemy). It's a game that is mostly a poke at the expense of fighting "honorably". Most maps are very VERY clearly designed to have environmental hazards as part of the play - "cheezy" instant kills if you're not careful. Embrace it and fight "For Honor".

tl;dr: Maybe having a "Doubles" mode down the line would be cool but Brawl is fine as it is and surely you can appreciate the satisfaction of winning that 2v1 against you?

at the start of the game just say honour match in chat if they do it 1st round, cool play an honour match. IF NOT, and you kill player first gank the last one with ur teammate.

The whole point of brawl is to gank. lol... As another guy said, if you cry about ganks, play duels only.
