i would say add a deadzone that we can configure , to make the mouse handling more precise and stable , while on defense the mouse is unnatural and everywhere , can't make it stable on this high dpi razor mouse

i play all the BETA with keyboard and gaming mouse and i can say i was in disadvantage against someone who played with gamepad especially with the assassin classes that you have such a short guard period

    are you serious?

The block with mouse is way more easy than the controller one, with KB+M i can block 3 attack in the time that i block one with a controller..
Controller is just more intuitive, sure, but it's less reactive than the KB+M too

And i have play with KB+M during one day. I prefer controller, but have clearly see the easiest blocking and guardbreak aspect with KB+M.
The issue with the mouse is that sometimes, you will change accidentally you stance side.

It's clearly ******** IMO (have you try to tweak the "switch guard speed"?)

Controller defense is much easier - those that play both agree - with a mouse we have to "switch" from moving camera/sight to "defense modes" which isn't how any game played before. While this might become something to adapt to, it is not going to happen any time soon.

This makes it where a faster attack - no guard method works much easier. The problem is if you face an opponent who is using a controller - as you will notice they suddenly block every attack over and over. Once they get a combo in - your done.

Why are you using the "camera" to look around? on controller, we are not using it,to look around, we move our char.. it's perhaps you got trouble with the mouse?

when i have do my try with the mouse, i have never use it to loock around, i only using it to stance switching and attack, like on the controllers.

Played with the mouse and keyboard all day .....

the big problem is to block the blows .... have time to turn around and block punches fast classes (Peacekeepers, Orochi, Berserkers )

If the mouse have big sensitivity .....successfully block a series of attacks will not work

lower sensitivity yes maybe ... but .... after lowering the sensitivity, you feel discomfort just moving on the map ( this is not a decision of lowering the overall sensitivity of the mouse)

After a large time in-game, you can get used to and adapt ... you will play good....but ... best you do not become

Aaaand in the last day I started playing on gamepad

It's a big difference in control game and battle control ( combos, block )

Sooooo need to modify ... control mouse and keyboard .....because now the players with controller have advantages

    (Sorry for my English)

Problem of a nowadays people in general is their laziness to learn (even game and its mechanics) and looking for problems everywhere else than in between their chair and monitor (and NO i do not mean keyboard and mouse or joypad). People, be happy you are not good in it in a few days. I understand that you are angry, if you get rekt, but make it challenge for you. Aren't games made to be a challenge and fun? So please stop whining and try to learn about the game mechanics, think and practice your skills

this is not about getting good or bad or whatever , this is about how unstable the mouse control is , sometimes the icon turns black and stops to attack to block to do anything until u press both buttons to start working again , the mouse is very unresponsive , yes the game is great its fun it's fantastic but their mouse control on pc is pretty bad , that's about all

we whine cause we need improvement we are paying customers same as the console users , if i wanted to play on the controller i would buy an xbox/ps4 , i want mouse config that is working

    thanks

    Kb&m only so far

What is the biggest diffrence you are seeing? I've played ~1000 hours of games with direct first person combat like M&B, Chilvary, WoR, etc. and have never played with a controller Do you feel like you are imputing better or were you feeling that your inputs were not what you wanted to do on KB&M, I was having trouble with dodge but have figured the issue out.

I played it with xbox controller and KB+M...I like KB+M better and feel it much much better than with the controller.
I dont thing the KB+M is so bad here, even a few tweaks could be welcome. Anyway, KB+M is not as bad as you say guys But it is from my POV - I played FPS games for some years as a professional player so even when I am kind of older now, still have some mouse movement skills many casual players dont have. So my judgement is a bit subjective, yet true - KB+M is not bad for everyone, if it is bad for you, try to switch to console or try to practise more. As I said, mouse and keyboard could have some tweaks, but there are still ways you may minimalize the effect of failed block directions. Just search the forum

Razor synapse can configure DPI profiles for an individual game. Try lowering yours,
There is an in-game option for reducing the guard mouse sensitivity. Try lowering yours.

I have my mouse dpi set to 800 and in-game guard sensitivity at 1. No issues blocking. Feels very stable. After a few minutes of practicing on bots, mouse intuitiveness is not an issue. Slide left, slide right, or slide up. occasionally pick the mouse up to re-center on my mouse pad.
