I like the game, but it was obviously designed for consoles and consoles only. The PC port is complete joke.
lol, i'm getting kda up to 10 on keyboard/mouse, same way I played Watch dogs 2 and The division. Get rekt haters
gj Ubisoft, playing on controller u just can't press dodge and block at the same time, so bad argh.
This game uses watered down Mount and Blade controls... which is originally a PC exclusive game that's been around for years. Not only that, said game also has 4 attack directions instead of 3, no dodge, no parry and no attack direction indicators. Also, the combat there is much faster.
So if people can master that (and oh boy they did), anyone can master this watered down version with M/K no problem. All controller has going for it is smaller learning curve. Unless you're Mount and Blade veteran in which case you can pretty much start this game and wreck face right away.
It's hard getting used to I'll grant you but believe me you are NOT hampering yourself against controllers in the long run, not by a long shot.
These are the PC controls for this kind of game. It's been like this since this since the entire genre existed. Do you have a better idea how to pull off directional blocking/attacking on PC? Becuase PC developers in over a decade haven't figured it out, maybe you are the genius we need! You can either have a hack n slash in which the attack directions are tied to combos and specific moves or you can have this.
I hate shoddy ports as much as the next guy but this ain't it.
The question is, PC Controls not are intuitive to begginers. Unless you be a veteran player in Mount and Blade, you do nothing to parry, dodge or combo with this way of control.Originally Posted by LocoWithGun Go to original post
Like I said before, making a keybind, and madeing a hundred fingers appear on your hands, practicing too much (so tooooo muuuchhh) maybe you would can be a better player on defensive mode.
However, Attack is the best Defense (particular opinion).![]()
i found that issue as well.. but theres an option to change only the guard position sensetivity. it solved me the problem as for now evry litl change in the mouse instantly change the guard position![]()
The worst control I've ever seen. The hero has a terrible responsibility, does not respond to commands, blocking attacks occurs once through. I hate this game even before release.
i hate those mouse controlls too. its horrible. if i move i lol bit it block in another way and i get hit -.- that sucks a lot
They're not intuitive. But there's nothing better you can make on PC, if there was, someone would've figured it out by now. This is already pretty simplified compared to Mount and Blade.Originally Posted by AekayTamnar Go to original post
What controller has going for it is smaller learning curve. But that doesn't mean you can't compete with controllers once you get used to it on K/M.
its not a port thing its just the mechanic that ure not used to, theres other games like mount and blade and of kings and men that use this kind of mechanic and both re pc games so dont blame the port u just have to get used to it or get a controller, but i find it quite smooth and precise (now, not at the first beta)
