So far, just wanted to say I've really enjoyed the game. There's a lot of fun to be had in all the game modes, whether you're by yourself or with a group of friends. However, there are a few comments I have on the game. DISCLAIMER: THIS POST MIGHT BE TOO LONG FOR SOME READERS.

Pros:

Amazing fighting system. The blocking is responsive and feels impactful, and whenever I land a hit or a series of hits it really feels like I'm doing some damage.

There's no extremely unbalanced classes so far: I know that a few classes (looking at you Lawbringer) were considered strikingly unbalanced during the Alpha or were brought back to the drawing board for a moveset or "finding their place" change, but the ones that are in the beta are all very good and interesting to play. Aside from the Warden and Kensei feeling extremely similar, I have no complaints about the classes. Some people have complained about the orochi being too fast or whatever, but I feel like it's a learning curve not to be aggressive against them.

Beautiful Graphics and Sound design: 12/10

Hero customization is worthwhile: Lots of options for customization, a few gender locked classes but nothing way too bad.

---There's a lot more but I'm lazy and you get my point.---

Cons:

Connection issues: Until the little hotfix 4v4s were impossible to play against other players. I'm glad they fixed this, but until they get dedicated servers instead of P2P (I think P2P is only for the beta) ragequitters or DC's can ruin the immersion of the game when it has to pause for 5 seconds.

Steel Gain is WAY too small after Orders: I can play 20 matches and barely have a couple hundred steel. And when some things cost 5000 or 10000 steel to unlock, it would take weeks to unlock even if I played the game religiously, especially when most orders only give you XP and like 100 steel. I feel like this could easily be improved just by upping the amount of steel from each match by about 30-40, since the average for me is around 10-15 per game.

Lack of game mode diversity: Elimination mode isn't discussed here since it isn't included in the beta for one reason or another. Although Dominion is the big mode that was hyped up for so long, it gets dull pretty quickly and I feel like there's many more people just playing Brawls or Duels. I feel like 90% of the games that I really enjoy are Brawls, even though occasionally you get the dishonorable cowards who do nothing but double team someone into submission.

Lack of maps for brawls/duels: I feel like they have a ton of potential for brawl/duel maps, especially when 90% of the matches start and end in the same place and nobody runs around to see or explore the map itself. Ubisoft could tie in the whole Faction War thing to Brawls and Duels by adding locations like battlefields with soldiers fighting all around or something.

GUARD BREAKING/THROWS: Guard breaking seems massively unbalanced at the moment, because unless you're wildly swinging like an ape (which in most fights will get you killed) your opponent can just grab you and get free hits. This is especially true for the Peacekeeper, who can deal half of your health with one grab bleed, assuming they spent the 10 minutes necessary to learn to hit all 3 stabs. I can't tell you how many times I've been killed simply because the window for recognizing an opponent's grab is too small. Even if it's like .2 seconds or something, add a bit more time to the grab windups for some characters to avoid it being abused.

SUGGESTIONS:

Add extra steel gain to post matches: See above

Add more maps: see above

Add more game types: I want more objective based gameplay over just more duels and brawls, but dominion gets old pretty quickly in my opinion. I imagined a "Battle Standard" game mode where one team is assaulting the other's keep/castle and has to fight their way to the top to play their Standard, but one player has to carry the standard to the top and has some major speed debuff and can't attack or something. This creates a sort of escort mission where the defending team gets a bunch of traps and such to help defend the keep from the assaulting team and makes strategy a lot more important, especially if the assaulting team has full access to most of the main walls via ladders and can start their assault from multiple locations.

Slightly reduce peacekeeper grab-stab damage or increase grab animation time slightly: see above

Add a team voice chat to the game: In any game mode when you're on a team, it's nice to be able to communicate freely without small call outs that don't do anything particularly useful.

More orders/cycling orders: It doesn't take very long to finish your daily orders, and any more time you want to spend playing the game has no real objective other than "I want to play the game". Maybe every few hours (4-6) the orders can cycle out or just add more orders per day. It'd be nice to have a large variety of objectives to pursue in my games.

Faction War: Make your matches feel more impactful somehow. I feel like the most popular faction at the time will always win, and that's not good. I have no suggestions here but I'm pointing it out.

Alright well that's my whole shebang. Leave any comments on my suggestions or whatever below; I'd love to hear what anyone has to say about them!
