I play as a warlord. He is slower than the others but his attacks are still quite fast, granted. Just as someone else mentioned, though, his stamina is really low when it comes to attacks. As a warlord, I play defensively. I hold a position until my teammates come and help me out. I can hold off up to 3 people at once but it is really easy to defeat a warlord.

Use guard breaks, they are hard to counter and completely devastate the warlord's defense. I am practicing my counter guard breaks as well as counter attacks. The perfect defense the warlord has can be stopped by just using guard break and if you are able to knock him down, then you will probably take half his health.

Everyone runs out of stamina after 4 heavy attacks. Not only do warlords have equal (or in some cases, even bigger) range than say, Wardens, but their light attacks deal as much damage as heavies. Not to mention their weird habit of shrugging off heavies they weren't guarding against, or better yet, blocking an unblockable hit.

guard breaking isn't a counter against htem, because guess what, they can counter it if they're not total noobs. :P

They aren't unbalanced. You just need to git gud.

This isn't Dynasty Warriors. You need to learn patience and timing.

    Warlord here.

I rely on YOU to go after me, allowing me to bypass my crap range, parry you and unleash Odin's fury upon you. If you're a longrange weeb, I just sidestep and skullsmash you. So basically, I simply adapt to what you can do and use it against you. I get wrecked on occasion by people realizing this, and start doing unpredictable moves, or predict my unblockable. It's all about that, so if you're getting wrecked by a shielduser, change you gameplay up, predict their chargespam and throws and you'll flip the table on them. They're not OP, and most Conquerors do the EXACT same shieldslam spam all the time to which you invent a counter.

The range of the warlords is next to nothing compared to the other warriors in the game. Just get an assassin to attack him, won't take too long to kill him. Yes, while guard break is counterable it is still a disadvantage against the warlord. Just got to use it right.

Warlords have crap range, except for two moves. Headbutt and zone, we wait for you to get close to make you our plaything. Light attacks do not do as much damage as a heavy, and we rely on the counterattack mechanic for your wild wailing, 5 lights aren't supposed to be shrugged off baddie. Warlords can heavy attack your heavy attacks (as can everyone I think), and because of their defense they usually go for it as he knows it'll hurt you more than him. Can't block unblockables, but they can be parried. Everyone can counter a guardbreak.

You just gotta gitgud and predict, adapt, counter.

No, it's not. Stop trying to invent non-existent handicaps for your broken OP class.

Sounds like someone cannot defeat the Warlord. Ah, well. Unlucky for you I suppose. As you say "if they're not total noobs".

Wow, it's really easy to recognize a bad player when you see one. Learn to play baddie!
