    also i dont think shield heroes have unblockable attacks (cant confirm it) so you can always try to outlast their stamina or wait for a teammate to come smack him on the ***

    I use the warlord primarily, its great. Once you get the combos down its easy to counter and take on multiple enemies at once.

    Warlord is a bit broken atm. His light attacks deal as much dmg as heavy attacks, and they're fast as hell. ;o

    not to mention if someone spam guard break you can just hit him with heavy attack because guard break do not interrupt attacks. every time some noob trying to drop me off ledge or bridge with guard break -> grab I just smash his head with heavy combos.

    Warlord has very low stamina (4 strikes and you're in grey zone) and his attacks have lowest range next to Peacemaker

    gameplay

    To be honest this game is so **** in the aspect of defending; the movements are to slow to defend in general dodge ar useless as well as anytime you can hit from any side you dodge. This game is not for simple gamers it's to hard. Played the hour of game, gainst npc and players, only way you can win is spaming with a hits. if you trying to defend by shield or parry or even dodge in 90% you'll lose. not the best impresiion of gameplay, but actual game looks good and idea is great as well.

    Well, no, I'm totaly disagree with you. This game has rather simple fighting games mechanic:

    For Honor == Fighting games

    left\right\head attack\block == head\mid\low
    guard breaker == throws

    etc.

    If you would play this game as a fighting game, not as M&B or Chivalry, everything would be much easier for you. Catch your opponent's heavy atk with light atks. Parry instead of Blocking, this will give you a huge window for starting your combo. You can fient your Heavy to catch his Light with your Parry.

    So, IMHO, this game is not so hard to learn, it doesn't have a lot of options and tools, it's more about how and when you use it. Classic easy to learn, hard to master.

    I agree but For Honor just don't have good enough netcode and latency to work like proper fighting game. In 1v1 it's ok and very responsive but even 2v2 makes little lag so executing some combos or frame perfect defense is impossible. Sure it only applies to high level skill fights. Most players are just meatballs and you can wrekt them spamming light attack.

    I've had no problems against Conquerors and other shield users playing mostly as an Orochi. So far the only classes that have been giving me trouble are the Nobushi and the Peacekeeper, aka other fast/assasin classes but these too can be countered with some dodge and baiting.
    As a matter of fact, i found playing as a Conqueror more difficult. Even though he has a good defence, his slow speed makes him vulnerable to counters and it also seemed to me that i wasn't dealing enough damage. Then again i haven't had the chance to play with him much so i'll have to test it further.
    So far the game seems pretty ok when it comes to balance.
