    Nobushi (Broken/Bugged)

The Nobushi is a little bit too strong. Not only does it have the most range it also has very fast attacks that do alot of damage and cause bleed. This character just has too much right now. It ether needs less speed or less range. As for the bleed..... it needs to be completely reworked, I shouldn't be able to poke you and instantly apply bleed. Bleed should ether have a build meter, similar to dark souls or bleed is applied but you need to hit your opponent to cash out on the bleed damage similar to KI.

And to top it off there is bug with the character involving bleed. While testing the nobushi with a friend I noticed that occasionally by doing the dash light attack(the bleed poke) it would apply the bleed damage even tho I didn't hit him with the attack. This happened multiple times.

I'm expecting salt so just let it flow.

Edit:I personally have no problems beating the nobushi but that doesn't mean that its not OP. The nobushi is the character I've played the second most It makes the game way to easy. Don't believe me 1v1 me.

her attacks aren't that fast. the only thing that is fast is the third light in the 3x light combo and it's unblockable.

i don't play the bleed and run away style with her but if someone is try being more aggressive.

    As a Nobushi main

As a Nobushi main, I don't think she's broken. But hear me out here, I'll explain why.

Playing a Nobushi at its very core is about keeping distance vs your opponent, I can't tell you how many times I've had to run away because I simply couldn't do anything if my opponent got to close or if I got backed into a corner. Nobushi can't trade well, her damage isn't strong enough nor is her defense, so more often than not you'll lose trades vs most other heroes. On the flip side however, she has the best range and a lot of annoying pokes. If you really look at it, her poison poke(S+LA) does less damage than a standard light attack would do over all. So that right there isn't a problem, it just applies bleed which seems annoying but is better than just losing that hp outright.

To counter her, you just need to get in close and be able to block/dodge a few hits during that "charge", then she'll be forced to run. I could go into heavy detail about this, but for the most part it just boils down to reading your opponents moves and adapting to their play-style.

I fought a Nobushi 1v1 and got no chance...once you miss to block that attack whichcauses the bleeding, you're done. Unless you manage to win by luck within the next 5-10seconds. The bleeding effect is way too strong and drains health too fast and too much.

In my limited experience against the Nobushi both the above posts are correct. I played mostly as Orochi and at first i was playing defensively against her, keeping some distance which i soon realised was a mistake because of the naginata's long reach (duh). Once she started her fast light attacks and if i was unable to block the first hit to have a chance to counter attack, there was no stopping her. She often finished me with a single chain of hits.
I found that dodging helps a lot against the Nobushi though. Once i dodged a thrust and i was able to turn and start swinging from close range, she'd often try to break and run away. It's an interesting Hero. I wouldn't say she's OP, you just have to figure out the right way to counter.

The bleed actually does very little damage lol. You're just playing way too passive and not blocking well enough if you're getting stomped by a Nobushi. She's much slower than you think and has a terrible side dodge. She's a noob stomper for sure but nothing to worry about balance wise.

I played a match earlier where the bleed was so strong it killed people in 4 bleed hits, it seems to have heavy buffs from equipment that can turn it into an absolutely over performing cheese machine.

This. Her attacks are predictable. 2 of the bleeds are overhead if you don't block them then you'll be punished like any other class. She has such a small side dodge and a very strict stamina pool. Her hidden stance has the timing of a parry. Her heavy attacks are so slow and easily parried. Her unblockable kick is very easy to side step. Anything else I'm missing? Go do a custom match with no damage and actually learn to counter her. The nerf nobushi threads are getting pretty ridiculous xD

I main Nobushi, and have an easy time against some heros and a hellish time agiast others- when playing a 1v1 against another Nobushi, I find the combat balnced.. i know her moves so i can block and recover as needed, but also know how to play the baiscs of the game which allow me to land my three hit R1 combo, followed by a Square ( which is her unblockable kick), follwed by another R1 combo .. the bleed isnt that strong, either .. now playing aginst the Conqueror with Nobushi ...forget about it .. and against the peacekeeper ??? you gotta know your stuf ..... anyway - i feel like Nobushi is perfectly fine as is ..
