Can we just talk about Nobushi being completely over powered like in every game mode. before i can even see the arrow pop up im hit 3 times and on top of that i bleed for a decent amount of time. I dont know much about the game yet but so far all i see is everyone playing her and completely destroying due to her infinite range and hard hitting damage.
You need experience playing against her before saying something is over powered. Learn to sidestep properly if you can't block fast enough. Watch her animations closely and you can recognize which attacks she's about to use. I fight her all the time and don't have an issue because I practiced the game from alpha until now. It's damaging to start a post saying so and so is broken/over powered yet in your post you even admit you don't know much about the game yet. It's redundant to say the least.
Just like you said: you don't know much about the game. Nabushi is well balanced character. She can be easily killed if you come closer (for example me when I play orochi). The fact that you got hit 3 times means that you can't parry which is basic thing to do in For Honor. You could always encounter way more skilled player and assumed that character is OP just because you can't defeat her. Next time when you want to nerf something at least have a little idea of how to play the game.Originally Posted by ToastyCircle151 Go to original post
The only character I have a problem with parrying is Nobushi. From the games I've played vs her her attacks are so crazy fast the parry indicator doesn't keep up. At first I thought it was because of a poor connection (my duelling partner was showing a red connection). But seeing a lot of people are complaining about her makes me think that's not the case.
Her thrusts do go fairly quickly but her heavy attacks can be seen a mile away. As someone who played Shugoki before and Conquerer now I can honestly say she is not hard to parry or block at all. Just pay attention more.
i wouldnt say that nobushi is that hard to fight. in the community creation forum i posted a video of the 4 vs 4 ai domination battle where i pretty much rekt nobushi with Kensei. it really depends if you learn how to time your blocks is essential to any of these fights. though the AI in the 1 v 1 seems to be nuts an i can see how nobushi can be a problem in that regard of the game. but i love a challenge an wont see me complaining. xD
Insulting people surely will make them take your "feedback" seriously.Originally Posted by Great-Friend Go to original post
Now to the topic.
Orochi and Bezerker, both are fast and have high damage output too, no?
Why not nerf those (again)?
The Nobushi actually doesn't have much offensive capabilities, she's more like supposed to keep off enemies. That's what her range and such is for, poking people and keeping distance. Good for defending a zone for example.
Without her bleed effect, she does basically "no damage".
My point of view on the things. Feel free to "correct" me.
Bro, the trick to beating Nobushi is to roll in tight and side step left and right.
She has good medium range attacks, but if you're in close her defense goes to absolute ****.
AND DON'T FORGET TO GUARD BREAK.
Also; don't swing away, this isn't Dynasty warriors. Have some patience, learn some timing.
Go play DDR and then come back when you're ready.
Basically what the title says, the poison damage is fine IMO but I think I would like it more if it put you to 1 hp so they actually have to finish you with another attack. It then gives it a more tank busting role because of depleting a larger health pool while falling off at the tail end of a fight.
This is a L2P issue and has nothing to do with the class being OP. See this as a fighter game, if you just randomly smash your buttons you won't be able to beat people that know what they're doing. Yesterday spent 6-7 hours duelling friends as a nobushi and at first they had troubble deaing with her pokes. Once they learned her weaknesses (she has plenty), they didn't struggle more than when fighting other classes.
Every class can cheese, but does that mean they should get nerfed? Certainly not since it CAN be countered if you play properly.
