There will be a single player campaign but that is not the point....

It is all right if you do not like the game but your arguments are questionable. Complaining that the game has not enough content is like playing street fighter and then blaming the campaign for not beeing emotional enough.... This is about getting better in pvp, you are not playing Legend of Zelda or something.

And saying the witcher 3 had better swordfightingmechanics because you could chop limbs of is a cringeworthy comment ...

There's one very specific complaint I want to address that I've seen in this thread. Why would you imagine that the game play would be anything like Dynasty Warriors? I've been following the game for a while, and have never once had the thought that this would be like Dynasty Warriors. And it shouldn't be anything like Dynasty Warriors. The point was to bring a more* realistic feel to their combat, not to be some game where you run around and get 600 kills just slapping a few buttons. There are obviously a few kinks to work out with the gameplay, but this is a CLOSED BETA, not the final release of the game. Shoot, I even expect the final release to be buggy for the first week or two at least, since that is fairly standard these days from almost any studio. But I trust that Ubisoft will keep working on the game and only make it even better over time. They proved they can do that with The Division.

In regards to the single player campaign, yes, there is of course a single player campaign. If you had done even a minimal amount of research on the game, you would have noticed this on the main site (For Honor Story Mode). If you don't want to spend money on this game, that's fine. That's your choice. But at least respect the choices of others enough to not spew venom and hate in the community for those that do enjoy the game and want to stick around. I'm personally very eager for the point at which we can get back to being a cohesive group of players that enjoy playing the same game together. My biggest complaint with the Beta is definitely the amount of traffic that has been generated to the forums that is toxic and unhelpful. If you have a legitimate bug or concern to log that hasn't already been addressed, I would encourage you to log it. But I would greatly appreciate it if you don't post drivel.

    * relatively. I don't expect this game to feel like I'm actually sword fighting another person, but it is relatively more realistic than many other games out there.

The gameplay footage you seen and I seen as well looked exactly like the controls tutorial when you fight the NPC's at "C." I won't take that chance for $60. Online only games are never worth it because servers go down and you can't play.
It's not uncommon for a multiplayer game with a campaign to NOT feature the campaign in the beta.
And yes, there is most definitely a single player campaign. This was revealed some time ago.

    Ok sorry i discussed.
i thought maybe i missed something an you guys who got in on the beta would explain whats cool.
like i said i wasnt trying to spoil you vibe, i find all the glowing stuff on screen detracts from battle. I didnt want everyone fighting here, fight in the game.

Maybe the single player will be awesome. The graphics are great. Just my personal taste i wish you could turn off the screen clutter, i never got used to games that blur the edge of the screen n stuff. Whatever, its just me. Lol.

I guess you should only start a thread if you played the beta. I didnt get in. My apologies.

way back i remember playing Bushido Blade on PS1 an if you hit a guys arm or leg it would wound him and was really fun, felt like you had a sword. He would drag himself around as you finished him.

Anyway all the best, glad you love it. Have fun.
    Peace you Samurai Knights.

I did not have a problem with your initial post, and no where did I say you shouldn't post anything. I think it is valuable for Ubisoft to understand why someone may choose to not purchase a game, and it's helpful for those trying to decide if they want the game to see as much information from different people as they can. I just ask that it be constructive feedback with the intent to inform Ubisoft and other consumers, instead of just a ridiculous complaint as some of the other responses. I think it is fair for you to say you were really interested in the game at first, but will likely not purchase it now because of the lack of gore you expected and the UI design is unpleasant to you.

You are right to not buy...

Been playing since first alpha and LOVED it, but this closed beta has made it painfully obvious the game wont amount to much..

They dumbed down the movesets, removing MANY combos and abilities while making some easier to do. This made some classes even more broke because they don't have to time anything or get a window to do them. Spam is now more effective as they adjusted the parry window and for some its impossible to block anything now. Dominion is crap as usual since they did nothing to help multi person fights, its just a spam fest. And from what I can tell now your teammates hit you harder, interrupt more and just get in the way now. Grab counter timing was adjusted so basically unless you grab the SAME time they do it wont counter.. you have to be clairvoyant. ALL THAT I could tolerate but they removed 3 classes. One was my favorite and the other I didn't get to try out. His voice is now the male Warden.. so wtf. From what I can tell the game is going to be just crap since they listened to all the kids who cried about the difficulty. It will just keep getting simplified and dumber. It wasn't hard to begin with but the right youtube babies cried enough so they caved and changed it. Sad.. But there is always Banner Lord!! MOUNT AND BLADE FTW

    This is not sarcastic.
I think my post wording was too hasty. Been watching beta vids and i should chill.

I should have said thinking of cancelling and what do you beta players think.

With the single player an bots i should relax.lol

    Sorry for starting a rant.

I learned a lot about the game watching IGN play the beta in a long session. At the very least I am happy a sword fighting game has been made. I know they will be tweaking it so give them ideas in the suggestions thread section. Who knows?

    Thanks for the input everyone.

FYI there is a single player/co op campaign, just not in the beta. there are at least 10 videos on youtube of what it is like.
