Nvidia shield controller not working (win10 x64)

In both previous versions of alpha, gamepad worked fine. Now the game does not recognize him. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the game, but it did not help.

    edit:
i found this "fix" https://youtu.be/yvvAjyxYbf4 but It doesn't look very legit

    Nvidia Shield Controller

Yep, it doesn't work for me, too. Its a serious shame Ubisoft. Every other game works with the Nvidia Shield Controller but For Honor. Ubisoft I expect you to give Support for this Controller. The real strange thing is, I can start the game in uplay by pressing button A, but as soon as you are ingame it doesn't work at all. I am sad .... even though I learned the keyboard control pretty fast. Unfortunately with keyboard/mouse its not the same feeling to play this game as I knew it from the Gamescoms 2015 and 2016.

I could also not get any controller working through Moonlight game stream but they work when directly connected. Since its based on Nvidia Shield device technology I would assume it will start working as soon as your shield controllers starts working.

I just checked the beta folder and it has no xinput1_3.dll but the uplay client has this file. I would assume if you use 360ace emulator in the game folder it would start working also.
I hate this limited betas because I can not test this thing right now.

NVIDIA SHIELD Controller not working: How to fix

Annoying from NVIDIA SHIELD Controller not working on PC after update or charging? When this happen, first of all make sure SHIELD controller is unplugged or power off. You can connect your TV with SHILED TV / SHIELD tablet. Sometimes SHIELD controller not turn on after charging full.

If you are connecting SHILED controller first time then help this page. To connect your TV with controller, use NVIDIA button on the SHIELD controller. It will automatically connect to yourt TV after few minutes and LED flash light turn on. If not flash, charge your controller.

Try this article that includes 5 possible solutions from my sides. I hope it will fix NVIDIA SHIELD Controller not working on PC after update or charging.
