Sup fellas, Been looking around on videos and stuff and saw that most camouflages in game seem to be american camouflages which I find a bit disappointing.
Also saw that the flag patches were only American flags?
I decided to make a list of the current camouflages in game that i've seen from videos. I'm also going to add a list of camouflages I wish were in the game.
What I've spotted in gameplay
ACU
AIRMAN TIGER
A-TACS FG
A-TACS
A-TACS ARID
A-TACS LE
MULTICAM
MULTICAM ARID
MULTICAM TROPIC
MULTICAM WINTER
3 COLOUR DESERT
6 COLOUR DESERT (CHOC CHIP)
KRYPTEC (basically all of them)
DPM BLUE (Russian?)
U.S. WOODLAND
CADPAT
Tigerstripe™
(And a bunch of single colours)
What I would like to be added
Swedish M90 and M90Khaki (I'm swedish, what did you expect?)
Danish M/84 and Desert Variant
Finnish Camouflage patterns m/05
German Flecktarn and Tropentarn
British DPM all variants
Vegetato
Russian camos?
What camouflages do you feel is missing? what camos do you wish were in the game? please discuss below.
Lonewold I think you forgot the Marpats camos.
You suggestions of camo is cool, basically all camo that are in vegas 2 would be cool.
I think i saw tigerstripe (atleast the jungle one) but i cannot be sure if that is in the video where we can hear the gun echoes .Are you refering to this vid ? I'm a big fan of TS.
Ofcourse there should be better AI control but I feel that "Eye candy" is a part of the game. I also think that they should make so clothes can matter a bit in relation to getting spotted and such things.Originally Posted by Sp--pyBrown Go to original post
Well since the U.S. Military in general consists of people who originate from many different nationalities and such one would believe that a special operator who don't have the uniform qualification would like to have the country of his origins flag on his backpack? I mean, it's only eye-candy. It's also quite common for allied nations special forces to work together in certain operations.
Just sayin'

i get ghosts are an american unit..that being said it would sure soften the blow to the country portrayed in the game if the "ghosts" characters could represent their local forces...im sure bans of the game like those of graw would still occur but it would be a nice token gesture for the featured country to have their forces as characters solving the local problem.

It is also a matter of respect to the military unit and branch being represented in the game. I have no expectation that if I am playing a game based on the British, German, or Russian army, that there is going to be an option to let me put an american flag on my soldier. It would be pretty insulting to the SAS, KSK or Spetznaz to have them represented with another country's flag on their shoulder.
I get what you are saying about Bolivians taking offense. The game takes the pretense that the gov't is hostile to the US and supports the drug cartels. The game has the Ghosts working with local rebels. While you don't play as the local rebels, they can be a large part of the game.Originally Posted by the5timechamp Go to original post
