I have the same, either Uplay fails to login and says try later or when I do get in and hit play it says launching then drops back to uplay and the play button lights up. I do not even get the black screen.
The Uplay app is pretty crap at best but normally works with my assassins creed logins.

clicking on the game exe, seen the banner like it going to load, and then uplay app pop app with the play button light up again.
can someone help with an idea of what is the problem?

Same probleme, game wont start. I'm on win 7 ultimate. Launch image shows then its gone and nothing happens.

As the title states It's worked fine on all occasions but this beta I click the play button it greys out the button computer shows in task manager that it has started then all of a sudden play button lights back up and back to step 1 stuck in a loop I've verified all files uninstalled and re-downloaded twice but to no avail nothing hope there is a fix fast as days are going by fast and ill miss my chance to decide weather I shall make a purchase or not because at the moment its a no go for me even after having me super hyped for the game due to me playing it before this has halted all my hype in a matter of seconds.

I read u need to install your uplay games on you C; drive in the default folder program files etc etc. dunno if it helps as my games are on a different drive to my windows and I will not fill my windows SSD up with games.

Turns out im using Bitdefender antivirus and it was not allowing For Honor to launch. disabled it, launched the game and voila. reabled it after game was playing. works well
