The peacekeeper is amazing, just wish you could make it a man
it seems OP, actually all the extremely fast attacking characters seems a bit like they are normal character with speedhacks :P meeh hard to tell though since combat feels really bad+frustrating imho
I agree the Peacekeeper is amazing, but gender of the characters really doesn't faze me at all. I do think their bleed is pretty great at the moment, not overly aggressive. My only real gripe with her is that she often whiffs on attacks that "appear" in range but are slightly outside of range. It sometimes feels like my sword just went through the person. Might just be visual latency though from someone moving outside of range as the attack would land. *shrugs*
As for the OP comment, the trick against "fast" characters is to use your rage against them, or your incredible defense if you're playing a tank. Most characters outrange them considerably, especially the Nobushi (also fairly fast but not unmanageably so) and the Kensei. The best option is to hang back slightly and poke when you see them coming in on you.I also recommend if you are playing a Warlord for example simply bating their attacks and blocking into a counter. Playing Peacekeeper, I find Conquerors to be the most difficult due in no small part to their attacks not having a stance prior to releasing the button. Harder to read where an attack is coming from when it just COMES, especially their incredibly fast charged heavy.
Hope that helps a bit.
Problem is guard breaking. They can rush into guardbreak and **** you up.Originally Posted by ErraticSeven Go to original post
And countering gb hardly works when you are not host, thanks to peer to peer. Fine when you get free gb after parry, but free gb all the time really suck.
They are way OP. I did play as them but i stopped because i like playing fair, All fast attacks and massive bleed damage is just stupid.
i love playing the peacemaker, is a lot of fun and feels vulnerable enough, due to only being able to block on reactions.
BUT, one particular thins is heavily Op imho. And that is the guard break followed by multiple light attacks. (light attacks must be timed correctly to perform 3 stabs)
You only need to confirm one guard break, wich is not very hard, to inflict 50% of your opponents health in dmg, that is just really silly.
I agree. I basically lost if they manage to do it to me 3 times on the berzerk. Which is not that diffuclt considering our range isn't that big either.Originally Posted by GANK_Lunatic Go to original post
Is she able to cancel ALL her heavy attacks with dodges, GB's and stabs? Because I'm only able to cancel one type of heavy into whatever I want, but a chained heavy is only feint-able and her heavy , heavy chain can be canceled into the stab and feint but that's it. Is that supposed to happen?
But she completely ****s on certain ones such as warden. There's literally nothing in a warden's arsenal that can keep up with peacekeeper's. ie: Warden can't even initiate an attack after multiple blocked peacekeaper lights because every peacekeaper light is faster than the fastest warden light. Also can't try to guard break with warden because all the PK light's will outbeat a guardbreak/light attack attempt. Unless I'm missing something, its clearly in the PK's favor.
Don't think its healthy for a game like this to have heroes that are direct counters to others without allowing a hero to atleast have a chance.
