I have one phrase for you and the rest of the community struggling to against a Nobushi... Get GOOD! They are capable of being overwhelmed. Learn the class, experiment with moves and conquer. Simples *makes Meerkat squeak*Originally Posted by ThaneDee Go to original post
If nobushi were any weaker she would be unplayable. Only majorly broken hero currently is peacekeeper for numerous reasons.
You play Nobushi and are afraid of any balance that would come to it.Originally Posted by XAngelicTerrorX Go to original post
Nobushi 'skill' indicator is 'hard', but she appears to be far from it, it just seems like a go to hero pick if you don't want to deal with mechanics and engage in a active fight. She has an absurdly powerful and quick attack (bleeds) in which she can attack with next to 0 threat feared from being attacked or interupted or being parried or blocked.![]()
It brings no satisfaction to play against one, even managing to defeat one in an duel because you are still stuck with the salty flavor in your mouth because you know how easy and cheap it is to play a Nobushi at this moment.
All I can say is that she should have another look at in terms of her mechanics and try to increase the difficulty of operating the hero, or increasing the awareness of when her strikes happen as they are almost instantanious.- Sky
The only "balance" Nobushi needs is to be able to execute her Hidden Stance like Warlord and Conqueror can go into their guard stance. An since everyone is on the Nobushi hate train you'd know she isn't as OP as all of you claim. Sure she has a good poke game but one side step and she's automatically open. Her kick ? yea you can dodge that by dodging left or right. She can't use Vipers Retreat on you because all a decent player has to do is guard up. Her side step attacks ? All are readable like the Raiders. Instead of all this Nerf Nobushi talk in the forums why not get back in the game and figure how the character works and try learn the mechanics of the game.
Really don't see why every game needs to be spoon fed to everyone these days. If you can't keep up with some basic mechanics maybe it's time you stop playing games and find a new hobby.
The range and speed of Nobushis attack makes it impossible to get in reach of her.
Somestimes I feel sorry for my opponents. They can't get in range to attack me.
Not only her range is op, but she has many tools to stay always far away. Her kick is super hard to avoid because it can come after every attack and she gets a guaranteed hit after every kick...
If an enemy comes close and attacks her, she can dodge back again after a block. And she can always use Hiddenstance to save her.
And even if you parry her attacks she is to far away to attack or guardbreak her.
And her damage on her attacks is really high.
So no she isn't op xD. I'm sure she get nerfed, lower damage, range or attack speed.
To be honest I initially had extreme trouble with the Nobushi and Peacekeeper classes (respective order of difficulty) and had chalked that up to either not being quite knowledgeable enough to beat them or my preferred class, Conqueror, being somewhat lacking in ability to engage with them in the same way he can other classes.
However the more I play them, especially in Duel Mode, the easier the players who used them are to predict and counter. Most every Nobushi player I come across tries to use the same pattern of attacks it's simply a matter of guessing where in that multi-hit combo they are and blocking it. Even should they get a sneaky stab or two in here and there or inflict a bleed I know I hit hard enough in return to keep them wary of closing in again.
The Peacekeepers now offer me no trouble.
I find that the lighter classes suffer horribly from being man handled (aka. Guard broken and thrown not to be confused with guard broken, hit, guard broken, and hit again though I think I've found my counter to that). When I fight them I tend to get aggressive. A knock down charge is a good opener in my opinion, though most skilled players will dodge the second strike, it puts the Nobushi or Peacekeeper on the defensive (not where they want to be) and lets me control the next five or so seconds to regain my stamina.
Sprinting Zone attacks are also good to lay down an early strike on one of these assassins and will sometimes let you chain into a pair of light attacks or a single heavy attack.
Also when it comes to Assassin characters I never find myself unwilling to risk trading blows. They have very little by way of durability and always loose out on a trade.... just be prepared to block their follow up attacks if you don't get that hit in.
While I find that I have the hardest time fighting Nobushi, with their solid range and bleed attacks, I find that they always follow a strict pattern. Watch and learn.
Nobushi needs to be slowed and have the poison damaged reduced, or at least have this ability of a timer.
Peacekeeper needs to have her bleed nerfed immensely since it can take half your health almost instantly. On top of this, the peacekeeper is super fast which it should be but should have a higher stamina drain on side stepping etc.
Warlord is way too strong, his defence is fine considering that is what he is there for, however, his damage is nearly as equal to the vanguard.
Honestly she's not. Not like the Peacekeeper. Range is great, the attacks are decent, but the stamina drain is pretty high. Learn to block/counter/deflect (play vs AI - and don't just spam moves, actually LEARN them) I see people constantly destroying Nobushi on Vikings and Knights.
I main Nobushi, skilled Raiders, Warlords, Berserkers, and Peacekeepers will regularly trounce me. I gear stamina regen/reduction/exhaustion regen to combat the drain on her attacks and even then being interrupted even once seems to send me into exhaustion if I go for a combo string longer than four attacks.
