Didn't get beta invite from Ubisoft, but you guys came through.

I was offered a PS4 invite and then, before I accepted, a PC invite. Very grateful to community's generosity.

Here's the thing: I had an interest in gauging pc hardware performance prior to launch, so it seemed like the better choice, all things being equal.... The PC inviter said, Uplay said, I'd already been invited! Name's grey. So I declined the PS4 invite, to clear the way for PC.

BUT... apparently my handle remained grey. I contacted Ubi support, thinking they might force a reset—because hey, the wouldn't implement a system so counterintuitive that I'd be forced to accept the very first invite, against the chance of being—without warning!—permanently excluded without any warning at all.

Right?

I'm SOL, support said, in so many words.

Well Hey, I replied, this is a new account; I'm not married to it. I'll just create a new account, that'll work right? I'll accept the invite there. Should work, support rep said.

Didn't work. Both names grey.

Tried to contact Support again, but online chat seems borked.

My best guess is they've blocked on basis of IP.

Any ideas or insight? Thanks in advance!
