Some scores are unbeatable because of those pathetic moronic idiots exploiting the game, doing the same trick over and over. There are still high scores where idiots go uphill atleast 10 times to get insane scores.. and ubi still didn't seem to look into these. Wiping high scores will not fix it entirely, but perhaps a warning to those lame exploiters at first.. and if they exploit it again reset their entire Steep progress.. i think that would be fair.
Dont you worry, i just uploaded the run to my channel so you can see it. Its all about risk factor and getting multiplier. I dont expect you to be on the same level as SniiKz and I. You arent the legend 27. Sniikz was the best person in the world at SSX, Skate 3, Trialsfusion FMX trick scoringOriginally Posted by TrialsFusioniot Go to original post. He is a Norwegian God, and you lie here on the forums like we invited you to our team on the beta lol. I have lurked and seen all your posts. I hope you realize you are wrong, sidenote - He got those cheated scores so we could beat the previous score and make "Cheating a Cheater" video on our channel. We did this so we could show ubisoft... Pretty sure you did the same thing. Again dont expect you to know this. I have had enough reading your posts. We are better than you, and it seems like you're salty because you clearly posted a lot about Ultra natural because you thought you were the best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg_V...ature=youtu.be
Skiikx is a complete child. He pulls every exploit possible. Like right now she zig-zags and does thousand of small tricks. Just the way the game was intended to be played
You lurked on me. I have to say I feel charmed, yet a little frightened.
I have not a single Steep upload anywhere. What are you talking about. Are you confusing me with one of your other stalked victims?
You guys run the hack tool! Prove me wrong!
The stunting consists out of spamming as much jumps as possible after getting 4x multiplier by a dangerous jump (near trees/rocks triple/quadruple flip/rotation is preferred for instant multiplier).
It's not a hack, it's not difficult, it's just not fun and the runs end up looking crap cause you're doing backflips every 2 seconds, it's knowing how the game counts, which is faulty, because "danger points" shouldn't count towards trick score (or trick multiplier), yet it does.
It's cute how they call themselves "good", "better than you" and "a norwegian god".. oh please my sides hurt! Exploiting mechanics to achieve insane amounts of points/score to get to spot nr1 on a virtual leaderboard is childish and silly at best.. it shows you don't care about being legitimate or serious about a game and just try to ruin it for everyone else. Everyone could get to spot nr1 if they waste hours upon hours of exploiting and doing the same trick over and over. Where's the fun and point of that? Kids these days.
PS: That makes you worse than anybody else, not better. Children should stay out of such games.
Snikkz, Sinomatic and the entire crew from the, ahem, 'team avalance' are just real low end guys. Honestly, it just takes those few guys with their exploiting and cheating to destroy the game for everyone else.
here is another leaderboard record from the 'norwegian god' Skikkz. Seriously, what an *********! Spamming and Cheating all the way long in this trainwreck of a game with its braindead scoring system.

I'd like to set the record straight about accusations of cheating and exploiting.
High scores in this game are a combination of risk factor and trick linking. What separates a good player from a leaderboard player is the ability to combine these two elements into a clean run.
So what does this actually mean:
1. Leaderboard players pick lines which include many jumps over rocks, near trees, etc. Landing very close to a tree can add upwards of a thousand points to a jump score. Extreme points are calculated both by proximity and speed. Thus, if you land very close to a rock or a tree going fast, you will score higher. Watch leaderboard runs and you'll see this happening over and over again.
Just because you run a challenge "a couple hundred times" doesn't mean you are picking the highest-scoring line.
2. Certain tricks score higher than other tricks. Leaderboard runs are often not "diverse" because they don't need to be. This isn't cheating; do not label it as such. Nor is it exploiting the game. Steep does not reward variety - nor does it penalize a lack of variety. As such, leaderboard runs don't showcase a variety of tricks because they simply don't need to. To be poetic about it, you are accusing a river which runs the path of least resistance of being a "cheater."
3. Flat land jumping is hard. Plain and simple. There is a definite skill-gap between players who can successfully do it and players who cannot. Rather than throwing around baseless accusations of cheating and exploiting, try replicating a winning run jump for jump. You will find that what separates your score from a leaderboard score is their ability to successfully do a trick you cannot. This doesn't make the leaderboard player a cheater - it means you need more practice.
4. The last piece of the puzzle is to link your tricks. Remember that the trick score is based on a multiplier system. The higher your base-score before the multiplier, the bigger the pay-off.
The base-score does not get multiplied immediately after you land a jump - there is a noticeable time delay between when the player lands after a jump and when the score is calculated. As such, if you are able to trick again, before the multiplier is calculated, your base score continues to increase. Thus, if you can incorporate trick after trick after trick into a run, your score will be significantly higher than several un-linked tricks. Leaderboard players will add flat land jumps in between big jumps to keep increasing their base score before the multiplier gets calculated (see point three).
Rather than demonize good players or accuse them of cheating, please take the time to familiarize yourself with the intricacies of Steep and its scoring system. Playing a game well does not mean you are cheating or exploiting bugs.
See you on the leaderboards.
Look man, this is it, plain and simple.
To achieve higher scores: Jump and perform Mini-Tricks next to obstacles. The more you do that, the faster the multiplier goes up, at which point you receive more points for basic tricks. Nothing else to it. Very basic.
Flat land jumping is NOT hard, they made it EASIER with the latest update. You literally can jump anywhere and do a 360 Mute Grab, very basic trick, and receive points all day long. Especially when the multiplier is at 4X.
Players are EXPLOITING the trick score system and completing "Unrealistic" runs with back and forth moves with no stylish tricks.
I challenge you to do a run, going back and forth, jumping next to trees, all the way to the finish line and see what your total score is.
You admitted above that for each Points Based Challenge, there is ONE particular path that allows for more obstacles to achieve higher scores. Where's the "Freedom" of Steep in that. Basically, watch a replay of one of the higher scores, and take the same path as that player. No freedom there !!
Your claim of no exploiting happening has been over ruled by Ubisoft themselves. They are actually paying people to watch replays of challenge attempts and filtering out the EXPLOITED.

We'll see how it all plays out with the tourney and what changes in the future. In the meantime I won't stress. You have to admit that although there is "freedom" to do what you want there is almost always an optimal line or path in anything, especially something done to such repetition and with many competitors. It's like the racing line on a track. Of course you have the "freedom" to make the turn at any point but properly apexing the turn and maximizing your exit speed relies on utilizing the optimal line. Sure you can follow the outside of the curve all the way but don't complain about the guy who makes the perfect apex. i've seen so many instances and in actual directly competitive games like Forza Motorsport 6 where there are tons of track cutters and wreckers. We can only hope they fix it in FM7. But anyways on topic... I don't know what the plan is. Maybe they are investigating it. By the size of the patch notes they are actually listening to what the community wants. It would be better if you guys keep it in your pants and wait for a fix or report bugs and exploits in a more constructive manner so that there is an actual back and forth dialog about fixing the game mechanics and not a daily screaming match on the forums which eventually will get tuned out.

It doesn't get any more "constructive" than me telling the truth about their plan to fix this. Don't you get it ?? I'm not making this stuff up. People are getting upset with the truth, because all they want is new stuff to look at on the Mountain. Why can't the actual gameplay be just as important. Once your done taking a look around and start playing the game, it's then you will realize, this is fake as hell !! People are trying to "outcast" the players who see obvious problems. All because they want specific things and think Ubisoft should give them that first.
