Weapon talent requirements need to be looked at

So with all the changes that have been made to armor, skillpower etc. I feel some weapon talent requirements need to change.

For example, if I want to run a reclaimer build, I'm obviously going for electronics and stamina. But a talent like "Talented" which I would consider a skillpower talent, need 4790 firearms. That is simply way too much. Why would I want 4790 firearms as a healer?

I haven't gone over all of them, but since all stats became way more important now, some requirements simply need to be lower.

Right now I'm sitting at roughly 5000 FA, 5000 ST and 5000 EL (rounded up) and speaking from a PvP standpoint, my toughness AND skillpower are WAY to low. 340k toughness and 200k skillpower are not enough to be a PvP healer. You can't heal for **** and you can't survive against a damage dealer. So again you have to go all health rolls and mods to have any chance of survival, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a healer build when I can't spec skill haste or skillpower.

Yes healers are squishy in other games, but they have other means of survival. Think World of Warcraft, you can spam heal yourself to survive against a DD, no such thing in division, once they focus you, you're toast. And again, with 200k skillpower your heal doesn't heal for ****.

I dont know why the standard 3rd talent "Talented" from the Liberator got rerolled? That is the reason I even got that weapon. Do I need to farm the Liberator to get "Talented" again?

Then it would be better if I dont need so much firearms to use the talent.

yeah intense needs 4790 electronics while harmful and toxic require much less. that needs to be dropped to the same amounts as those two.

I honestly think Talented was an oversight, it seems like some just entered the number in backwards. Otherwise if not... well it does't make much sense.

If you look at the requirements of Talented and how the current testserver is working you should realise that Talented was never intended for skill builds. It's meant to give DPS that little extra push to get the skillpower so that they can heal a little extra, not increase an otherwise massive skillpower pool.

I think the talents as they are now are fine. They shouldn't be accessible to everyone just because the broken 1.1-1.5 mechanics made that possible. Having the talents spread out across more than one build and to different builds than how it has been is a good thing.

If I were Massive I'd take away the free talent and set a requirement to that as well, because the free talent is really screweing up this balance.

But does anybody with a DPS build use talented? I don't think so, because in a DPS build there are WAY better talents that you basically HAVE to pick to stay competitive. And like I said, now you have to go for a way more balanced build, so reaching that high firearms is way harder than it should be.

Exactly Short_rnd, yes @Khayne_ your logic is sound, but in the actual player usage, Talented is RARELY used in a Firearms DPS build. It should just be given to Electronics users, so it is actually utilized.
