Is there a good reason that we should not be able to play at least the tutorials and bot fights before the 26th? This will be my first time playing the game and I'd sure like to be able to get up to speed a bit before I fight online at all.
Please consider opening the beta to let us play a bit "offline" before this Thursday. Thanks.

As far as i know from alfa player there is no such option like "offline play". Even if u start the game u cant play because servers are down. I guess they will be online only when beta starts.Originally Posted by mrmojorisin316 Go to original post

Of course there is a reason.
Keys are being sent out in batches and not anyone will be able to start their download at the same time. Considering this is a 4 day trial that is basically focused on multiplayer it would give those that could download the game file early and practice moves and learn combos etc an unfair advantage over those that couldn't.
For the sake of fairness and a decent experience for all just wait until the announced date and start to play this.
I mean it would be fun and I'd love to play this again since I've been looking forward for this since the Alpha was over (although I'm greatly fearing the withdrawal symptoms when this is over) but there will be more than time to have skill and gameplay time gaps between the community once the full game releases.
You have exactly 48h to wait until this starts. It isn't that long.
