Confusion with PC preolad and access to Beta. | Forums

There is a lot of confusion or Reddit, Discord ect. about access to the Beta. Some people say that if you can preload the game on PC you still need a key to be able to play. Is that true or Preloading means you are in 100%?

Same problem: I was able to preload the game but haven't received any key... So I don't know if I have access :|

While you should still get an email invite, the game should just show up in your Uplay game library for PC. No need for a key.

I have received no email, however the game is in my library but with a "coming soon" still on the cover so i am not able to pre-load. Does this mean i have yet to receive access even though i have access to these forums?

There's no NDA so the forums are open for all to view. Also invites are in process of going out, so I would check back at a later time to see if an invite comes through. The game tile should show something along the lines of For Honor Beta.

Hijacking this thread. I have a code for the closed beta but it won't let me redeem it. It tells me that "Rojjter, You are already registered on PC with the following email: . You will get your access instructions shortly before beta starts."

Why's that?

I was invited in by someone else. Got the whole "Congrats on being in the beta" but can't or don't know where to preload.

I got a congratulations on being in the beta e-mail as well (I've been in all of them aside from the very first one, years ago), but For Honor's beta doesn't show up on my list. Only the actual game, which is still listed as Coming Soon.

So I'm apparently IN the beta, but I don't have access to even preload it. UPlay was also down entirely for a while earlier, so apparently something is going on.

i hva a beta key and for a short while it was in my Uplay but as soon as i pushed preload it says:
"A Ubisoft service is unavailable at the moment, Switch to Offline Mode." uplay went offline.....
a bit later i managed to get online with uplay but now the preload is gone!!??
i hope we get it back before 26th...

I have this issue as well. But when I got my my beta-access page on my personal settings, it says im not in any beta.
