I dont see how this could be possible. At this point its almost guaranteed it will be there in retail copies.

I could be wrong, but I believe you can "unequip" one of your primaries so it's an empty slot. So it's just a matter of not compromising and re-equipping the LMG when the shiz hits the fan hah!
That's cool and all but it's still a stupid design choice. It also doesn't make sense to have a magic arsenal of weapons and attachments available to the player on a whim. That's straight up weak sauce.

Can't argue there. "Weak sauce".... haven't heard that one in a while, you must be from Seattle haha!

Yes it does seem stupid, you should only be able to put a suppressor on the fly, carrying all those items seems silly.

Yes! If I remember correctly you can do that quickly with a hotkey(can't remember which one/s). Just like you can decide to mount or dismount suppressors etc. at your own discretion.

I'm at work so can't listen to audio at the moment.

Did they mention that this footage was from PC or console?

Looks too good to be console :/ I'd hate to see these graphics get powdered for console agh

    Few problems I've seen.

1), Right off the bat, very start of the video, the Developer takes cover. Annnd his head and shoulder stuck way out of cover and he continues to take damage as a man hoses him. This comes up multiple times in the video and confirmed a huge issue I had worried about out from the start.

2), To distract an enemy he shoots out a window. I mean, just throwing a rock and having everyone turn around is rather stupid too, but this doesn't feel much better.

3), The Cartel carries boxes of ammo that, assumably, coincide with every weapon the player can carry?

4), Supposedly, the Developer was on the verge of being spotted. Maybe I can't read the UI on that, maybe there wasn't any real warning, but it didn't seem like it. And the melee felt unnecessary, I'd have just shot him.

    5) "Quiet running", "Detection", "Bullet resistance". Oh, boy. Is there going to be a point you can just sprint across open, well-lit ground in front of ten men and, because "skills", they don't see or hear it?

6), Yeah, the AI seems utterly oblivious. Between standing out in the open on a rooftop for several seconds, outright sprinting across streets, and generally having little regard for line-of-sight, the Developer goes undetected. You can cite difficulty, but if this was Normal, I'm concerned how much better Hard might be, assuming it affects the AI detection at all. If it does, there's hope. If it doesn't, then that's the last nail in the coffin. This game simply won't put up an engaging fight if that's how blind the AI is.

7), Seems confirmed, you can just up and swap weapons at literally any time, even in combat. So, why two primaries again? Why not just let the player carry one of every weapon type? The restriction seems arbitrary if you can just open a wallet and pull out a sniper rifle at any time. I suppose it does make you vulnerable while you navigate menus, but that's hardly punishing unless you're an idiot and decide to stop in the street to do so.

8), "Even one bullet can kill the player", sounds good to me. Between this and removing enemy markers, might actually get a challenge out of it.

9), During the escape in the minigun-capped humvee, the window operatives were twisting all kinds of wack. That was some funny stuff to watch happen. Seriously, go watch that. Imagine the Jell-O spine that man must surely have.

10), Gunsmith! First proper look of it, looks nice. More options than I'd originally anticipated. Nice to see. Look forward to seeing the character creator, as well.

The main thing that gets me kind of worried is the squad control interface. By the looks of it, it doesn't look like it's got anything to select individual operators, just the other 3 AI. I know we've only got a 4-man team in this game, but even so... It is something that's holding me back from purchasing this game.

However, other than that I'm rather impressed with the gameplay demo. It does look a bit more Ghost Recon than I feared, and it was a relief to hear that we could use difficulty to make it more like the Original (and best) experience.
