Pratically impossible to game as police... too bugs and too difficult

With a maxed Lambo as police, impossible to catch the racer. Racers too fast, too able, ok, I'm noob. But, the police slam and hit you at every moment is very very frustrating!

With very difficult I got ysterday the Police Jeep. But 'cause I dd spend on the police bike, that seems a slightly better. I did win pratically only when we are 2 police.

And we don't talk when you are police and the racer have a "friend". They hit you with 2x2 = 4 powerup. You have only two!

So, the question is: is the game too many balanced favour of the racers?

PS Some day ago, I did level a car and a police in bike arrested me at 250 km/h... When I'm a police, over 150km/h counter reset.

    Absolutely.

On one hand it is really frustrating when you get a chase invite and it1s always a 2vs1 where I have the stock policecar, and they have C1000+ or P1000+ and I blink one and they are 10km away. Press R to get back? It puts me closer but with a speed and direction which always tosses me into grasses, and If I manage to not fail this auto-teleport bug, one of them have an usable ability.

Also what You said: if somehow I could manage to get closer, ALL of the npc police car trying to help the racer with blocking me, or pushing me from behind for no reason. etc. Currently this DLC is not worth it and at least should be in season pass.

what gets me there is no far balancing class type racers vs cops, e.g. to win crate goodies you have to use f class, but then you can get busted by player using c class as cop.
there is meant to be a patch to auto even things out but after reading patch notes it will be still nothing but unbalanced as there is no auto match class just number balance, in story mode you are automatically matched to class of vehicle they should do that on cops vs racers to make things fair , at moment if player is in crate mission player can change cop class to higher one in order to catch you, think that is unfair makes game play one sided, this is biggest flaw in the game, I wish programmers would take note of this.

1 POS S-class, 1 POS D-class, 1 P class bike and 1 C-class car. Then there's the smallest MT and the biggest MT, which are pretty useless. But hey, we have 3 P class police cars, for some stupid reason. My biggest gripe is the sheer stupidity of the cop AI, followed closely by the idiotic notion that we have Dubai's police department patrolling the US in their Eurotrash police cars, instead of the huge variety that we actually do have here...

I only bought the raid F-150 cop car. All others are from crates and I have one cop spec maxxed out (except the MT). All have been maxxed out while doing crate chases. And all that was done in two, maybe three weeks. The chases aren't impossible - you just need to be smart and avoid BOT, because that would just make things worse.
Practice, practice, practice. If needed, then I may even upload some chases...
Few hints for the beginner cops:
    - do not use both abilities at the same time
    - use bot only when the racer is 1+km away (if desperate, but better to not use at all)
    - use drafting (even trafic can be used for drafting)
    - do not use the abilities on helpers

People are going to be pissed whatever Ivory Tower do haha. People posting its too hard as street racer and some posting its too hard as police. I find even in 3 v 1 situations I can more often than not struggle through to the crate or get away from player police so in my eyes it needs to be made tougher but as a veteran of the game that is understandable and for a new player coming in it could be catastrophic so my thoughts are for the most part its fine as it is.

Back on track abuse is a problem playing as police and street racer so I think using it you should be massively penalized.
Playing as police the AI should be more aware of where you are so they don't try to drive through you.
When I enter an event I should also be able to see where the hell I am going. The text just covers the entire screen practically and you cant see to avoid traffic as it stays for way too long, especially when playing as police.
A lot of complaints going around about back on track also sending you into a wall or whatever but I can't see how that can be fixed unless my idea of a penalty for use is implemented. (As Police you spawn doing maybe 100mph to give you time to react, it's a bit mental that your spawn at equal speed in draft range. As for street racers maybe cant drive for 3 seconds) Removing the feature altogether would be welcome in my eyes.

man, the racers are complaining about the cops being to OP and the cops are complaining about the racers being to OP. Which basically means the game is fine. I played both as a racer and as a cop for so much time now and never had any problems apart from the AI knocking me of the road, but that's AI, nobody gonna do anything about that.
    - If you are mad about having a stock car, level it up first, do the CAU story missions, I bought the McLaren today, did the mission where you have to catch the circuit SLR McLaren a couple times, my car was maxed on 1497 in 20 minutes.
    - If you hate being tossed into the grass after using back on track (R), you are not using it wisely. Always save it for when the racers are on a straight line, with no corners (it is not going to thrown you off-road like that and don't tell me it is because I KNOW it's not).
    - If you get mad about being hit with an ability once you get in reach you are not driving properly. I imagine you use (R) to get 200m behind them, then you get EMP'd, lose control and have no (R) ready to get back in action again. Do not use (R) unless you absolutely have to. Get in reach, once they hit you, see whether you can manage to keep the car under control. If you can't, THEN IT'S the time to use (R), you jump right behind them and their abilities are not charged yet.

    - all those problems apart the NPCs hitting you are mainly caused by you not being a good enough driver. Sorry for being a ****** but that's just true. I have done hundreds of crate missions already and never had any problems as a racer or as a cop. Only if I get a really good driver against me, which I can understand and accept. He did better, he deserved to bust me.
    - also no-one says you need to follow the GPS at all costs, once you see the cop is getting the upper hand, suprise him! take a sharp turn (even though the GPS tells you to go straight), slam your brakes... that's also something many racers do not understand. You, as the racer, are COMPLETELY IN CHARGE of the chase. The cop always has to WAIT for you to make YOUR move and THEN react and adapt. It cannot get any easier to be honest.

    - You dont have to use a specific class as a racer, you can use a C class car just like the cops do.
    - and as I said in one of the threads here somewhere, you cannot have crate missions for specific classes. Because in S class there are like 60 cars for the racers but only 1 for the cops. And the one car is a stupid Mercedes that can never stand a chance against a Skyline. Unless the cops get all the cars too, locking the crates for one class only would not be fair.

so yeah, I can agree with you on the NPCs being stupid and on the fact that the info in the beggining of the chase covers 80% of the screen and you cannot see anything. Apart from that those are just suggestions to make your life easier but it does no neccessarily need to be.

i think its nearly impossible to balance that, i think also its a lot of work and this is why the dlc isnt that expensive as it could be

on the other hand i have big beef with the entire gaming-industry, i feel degraded to a paying "laboratory ape" in general

im not willing to follow that over the boarder of 2017

and im nearly shure i go back to the new quake3arena as it is quake champions, other games are coming too ...

i guess also that im not in this new betas because i get this forum bann here for a month for speaking the truth, im not sorry for ubisoft, it was a reaction created by you, no more - no less, all you have shown me with that bann is how helpless the gaming industry is in general and how some people handle "free speech is law and a birthright" with one difference, we pay your lifes, people, you bug us

im tired of watching the good tries of a few companies, then paying for and finally getting 5hit in detail which ****s up the whole gaming expirience

sorry, i have no better feedback ...

i mean, i cant change anything, thats why i speak realistic in a fantasy world which goes too faar, its not only ubisoft, there are too many which have become big and lean on their millions and play god ... im not supporting this i simply helplessly cant do that, im not selling my a55, never did, and i will not do further ... ITS ENOUGH !

I think that it is not balanced, but not regarding the player aspect. Just some of the features need tweaking.
Only thing that is not reasonable, are the AI cops. As a racer, I like them (I see them as points). As a cop, I hate them (obstacles in the way and things that push me off the road). It should be the opposite way now, shouldn't it?

I've been thinking of many ways, but seems, that the less would be the best. When in PvP chase, then remove the abilities, remove the AI cops, allow BOT to be used only once by the racer and by the cop. Rest would be pure chase - no tricks, no magic, no fuss - pure skill. And ofcourse spec specifc (how to pull that off, I have ideas, but would be OT).

the cop AI is more balanced on some tracks

as well as i enjoy the chases until 3 cops appear before my nose and i have allready 4 in the rear or when i see on some "rare" tracks 6 to 8 copcars hunting me or if i go off the street with a P or C car the P or C copcars are basicly faster and heavier then me when im riding a few meters over the "meadows" and get me down, thats demotivating, surreal and not logic

even that, there is no real balance as well as what should they do to entertain us ? and im shure they try hard
