Let me just preface this by apologizing in case this is posted in the wrong forum, or has already been asked before or if I've in any way made a mistake by posting this here, it's literally my first time ever using this forum. Also sorry if my explanation is difficult to understand or if I'm using the wrong terminology.
Now onto my actual question:
I've recently started playing AC IV Black Flag (late, I know) on my PC and I installed the Companion App for it on my phone (Android). Upon logging in on the app, it connects to the uPlay servers, but not the actual game (or rather, my PC I guess?). I have the option "Enable companion app auto-connection" turned on in my game, however the app just gets stuck on the "Waiting for your PC to reply" screen. I've tried downloading it on my iOS device, and I get the same issue. Is there perhaps something else I need to do/change in order for it to connect, or?

When I tried to connect to my Xbox One, I also had problem with the connection.
It connects to the UPlay servers, so I can manage my ships, but I can't see, where is Kenway at the moment. So the best part is fine - I can get a lot of money when I'm away from my consol. But it's not the best.
The support couldn't find any solution (yet). I'm afraid that the game is too old for fixing the bugs, they work with the new titles. And it's a shame, because still these days new players (like us) coming to these great games, and gettint disappointed because of the companion glitches.
