    Noobish Question Here

What's the best way to report a player? I just started playing online after completing the training tutorials. I had a pretty good round in Terrorist Hunt where I contributed well to the team (8 kills!) and even managed to save another player who let a terrorist get behind him. However, as soon as I picked off the terrorist, my teammate hosed me. I thought it might have been an accident, but then he stood over me while I was bleeding out and emptied the mag into me, one round at a time, deliberately. I've never met the player before and didn't do anything to offend - I didn't use the chat and I only used VOIP lightly to let my teammates know when they hit me with friendly fire or from which direction the enemies were coming. I have a video to back it up, but I'm pretty sure that there's a "No Name and Shame" clause in the ToS, so I won't post it here.

Basically, is there an e-mail or subforum that the mods use for this sort of thing? I didn't see an in-game reporting tool (or maybe I just haven't found it yet), so I couldn't report the guy in-game. It really frustrates me that I have to put up with this sort of behavior though. It's happened a couple other times recently too, and it's usually accompanied by "noob" insults and the like. It's getting old and making me frustrated enough to want to quit trying to learn the game.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

I wouldnt really bother reporting someone for a tk because its not likely anything "manual" is going to be done about it. Tkers will ether be hit by the automatic system or not at all. If its someone you meet several times and is always toxic and you can prove it with several videos, sure, you can upload the video as YT unlisted and send in a Ubi ticket, but if that is not the case. I just recommend you move on tbh.

Open the player list, click on the player you want to report, click the report button on his profile. You have to be quick. Report him before he disconnects, otherwise your chance is gone. If something happens to me, I instantly ignore what's going on in the game and report the player before he has the chance to leave unreported. You can report players via support as well, that is very cumbersome but gives you the chance to report players after you played.

Thanks guys! I wish that there was better policing of player behavior. It's frustrating to run into this kind of nonsense. Today, I went to reinforce a wall and didn't notice a teammate stick a nitro cell to it when my character bent over to grab the metal grate and pull it up. I accidentally popped his nitro cell off the wall and destroyed it. He immediately shot me up to about 46 health and then initiated a vote to kick me off the team, despite my apology.

So, two nights in a row, I've had bad experiences with other players, and it's making me a little mad that I can't just drop in game and relax. I deal with people's attitudes all day long as part of my job, so the last thing I want to do is have to deal with it in-game too. Is this behavior I'm stumbling across fairly typical of the game, or have I just been unlucky two nights in a row? I'm thinking about dropping this because I don't need the aggravation when trying to relax.

It's pretty bad at the moment due to sales everywhere. I suggest to take a break from Siege and play something else for some time. As much as I love online multiplayer in general, it can be very annoying at times. I'm playing Fallout4 at the moment and enjoy to not having to deal with real people. I dip into Siege every now and then, enjoy if possible, or fall back to Fallout4.

I'll probably take you up on that. It seems that nearly every match, there's one smart-butt on my team that thinks it's funny to teamshoot/kill and/or use all his ordinance on his teammates to shake them up. I had a teammate dropping flash grenades on me at one point tonight just because I nicked him one time in a previous round. I apologized, but he held a grudge. He shot off his mouth more than his gun, and we tried to kick him several times but were always one vote short.

    .

I find ppl like that only act like that when they got a buddy with them. The confidence that he can't get booted, sucks.

Yeah, the teamkilling is a joke, especially when it happens in ranked.

Yesterday my team were 3-0 up, I had 8 kills (good, not brilliant) and was enjoying it. It was hostage, and in the 4th round one of my team goes Fuze and immediately got to the window right beside the hostage and places his charge. I assume he has forgotten it's hostage and shoot the charge out. He tries again, and again I shoot the charge. And again...

So he repels down, and whilst I'm trying to deal with someone who has come outside, he just walks over and headshots me. Then his friend TKs me right at the start of the next round. Then both of them do it right at the start of the next...then both come on the mic, and as I explained why I shot the charges they both start being ****s and saying 'isn't the objective to kill the hostage?' with their ******ed little laughs.

So I just have to leave. I got a short ban from ranked and an abandon penalty. Seems fair.

And to follow on from my previous post...

I played a few games of casual for the first time in a while and it was horrendous for TK. Literally at the start of every round at least one person was killed by their team. Then as I was shooting a drone, one of my team ran in front of me. I must have taken about 10 HP from him, but of course he killed me for it. I just left. Probably the most toxic community I've ever experienced in gaming.
