    Only 1 thing? I'm sorry but my frustration is so high after a year of playing that I can easily write an encyclopedia at this point but I'll just name a few:

    1) Defenders being able to go outside ( and throw stuff outside eg. C4, cameras, etc. ). Isn't this game called "Siege" or something?
    2) I agree about the ridiculous speed of level-1 armor operators.
    3) I think that shotgun reloads should not be possible to be interrupted half-way. You either start the reload and wait for it to finish or you switch to your pistol. At this point, shotguns can stay fully loaded at any given time because there is simply no delay if you decide to stop the reloading process half-way through.
    4) MAJOR ISSUE: Make the bullets come out of the gun's barrel itself instead of the players eyeball. It's ridiculous when someone's rappeling up-side down on a window and the only thing you can -barely- see is his forehead when instead his whole upper torso should be visible.
    5) Muzzle brake on pistols? Seriously?...
    6) I still cannot understand why Tier-1 operators are using cell-phone bombs like they are some kind of Middle-Eastern terrorists.
    7) Map-themed hostages. For example:
    -Bank: An employ with a suit
    -Yacht: A captain
    -Favela: A guy wearing a soccer shirt or something
    Plane: A pilot
    and so on.
    8) Ubisoft is going 100% the wrong way with the headgear and the outfits. They started off nice but ended up complete bs. They are just so weird. Thermite became a Nazi, even worse Kapkan became a Communist, Sledge just teleported from Battlefield 1 and don't even get me started on the shiny headgear that screams : "Over here you blind f-k. Shoot me!"

    I know that number 6 and 7 don't play a part in how gameplay evolves but it would be nice to have a map-themed hostage.

    This is the only FPS I've played where the high pingers win the gun fight. Peekers advantage shouldn't even exist, high pingers should get the crap end of the stick.

    You can be a GOD if you can get your ping to 240+. Most of the time im between 40-60 and the amount of nonsense I get is a joke. Sometimes I feel like I have blanks in my gun. When Im dead I look at the scores and see the guy who killed me has a high ping.
    If it makes you feel any better, it's not just an issue with R6. I'm playing a lot of BF1 at the moment and it's exactly the same.

    I'd like to see the inclusion of actual doors in the game as every other Rainbow 6 game had them which can make it harder for both sides.

    So for example when defending you could decide which doorways to leave open/closed (obviously) but as the defender you could have the option of tearing the doors down and putting up a barricade if you decide too . Also you could have the option of barricading the doors together (but this counts against the 2 metal barricades they give you when starting a match) so by barricading the doors together this would mean you would have to either use breaching charges or when using Sledge it would mean hitting it twice to break through.

    All doors on maps when starting a match would be set to random (which would start off as open or closed) just to mix it up everytime so you can't memorise what doors start off open or closed.


    For the attackers you could have the option of either a drone or the classic snake camera used in the (Vegas series) as the drone wouldn't be able to fit underneath doors like it does with barricades and also giving ASH an extra breaching round would be nice. As for castle he would have to rip the doors out to be able to put up his armour barricade.


    I think this would help slow the game down and might cut down on the infamous "spawn killing" as the defenders when roaming would loose fractions of time by having to open doors to get to there desired location for "spawn killing" but also choosing what doorway to leave open or closed might just mean life or death.

    Adding this minor feature (not sure if it would actually be minor to add in game) in my opinion adds a new layer of tactical realism to the game, slows the pace just enough and gives more to the element of surprise to the game because like all the old R6 games nothing pissed me off more opening a door without checking before and getting blown away by the AI.

    For PC:

    • remove VoIP
    • always prevent profanities from appearing in chat


    They are used too often for the wrong reasons.

    I thought about advanced in-game reporting option but it's not like they care about it too much so relying on the machine is better. It might not always work like here, and here but it's is better then seeing or hearing it in full.

    The one thing I would add, would be a 'Random Selection' button. I love most of the operators and want to spend time playing them all, but struggle when choosing a character. Much like fighting games, I wish I could just let fate decide what I'm going to play as, it adds a little more spice to my gaming experience.

    Add a 'sniper' to DEFenders... this will do 3 things:

    1: force ATK'ers to keep their heads up at round start
    2: counter Glaz and d-baggery he can bring/
    3: make some of the nay-say'ers about DEFenders going outside think twice because, if you're a sniper on DEFense, you can "reach out and touch someone" anytime.

    OffTopic, but still relevant, this is Not a Simuator and i heard so much whinhing about DEFenders going outside i find it hard to take anymore... granted, if you want to DEFend and vault a window, there is the same penalty in time measures as ATK'ers, and taking down a barricade makes it that much worse, as you've been "ubi-wall-haxxed" already. Spawn-killing is another point, if you play this game and don't ever expect someone to expect you, you effiectitvely make this game not called Siege, and make it "Orange Vs. Blue"... you should know that at round start the DEFenders have already set-up shop and are willing to kill.. it wouldn't be Siege otherwise. Instead, Let a sniper from DEFense counter Glaz, as there currently is no counter on maps like Presidential Plan, Hereford, Favelas, without a sniper on DEFense... they sit on their "rears" and do not much else than pot-shot you until the ATK'ers are ready to move in, and even while they do, continue the plinking until the DEF'ers are helpless...

    IMHO, it would balance things out a bit, for ppl who know what they're doing.

    1) Fix 3 Speed rushing operators, or decrease the overal moving speed.
    2) Disable dropshots, an operator should not be able to shoot when pressing prone button.
    3) Instant detection when a defender goes outside of the map, plus add a red outline to them, so it's easier to identify.
    4) Dedicated servers.
    5) Fix matchmaking errors, team joining errors, disconnections from ranked...
    6) Return back to the old rank system, when diamond was 6000 points, now so many players don't deserve the rank they have.
