    GR Wildlands Graphics

First off Wildlands is going to be a great game that I have always wanted to play. Of course my team will be draped in their best Navy Seal camos and accessories. The one thing I wanted to bring up was Graphics I was watching this Wildlands video were they were letting you hear the sounds of the guns and also the sounds of Bolivia and I noticed the graphics looked real nice. I will post the link. 2:14 and 7:12. I already have this game paid for. The Jungle looks real nice and the plants as a whole look real good. I will be playing this game solo because I want to be completely immersed. As for people wanting an in depth command structure don't bet on it. ALL we need is Follow, Open/Cease Fire, and our Sync shots. My team will crouch when I crouch and sprint when I sprint.

Are you planning to play on PC or console? Im curious to see if what we saw is high end PC (most likely) or what we can expect on console as well.

Yeah but will they take cover when they need to take cover?

Will they cover you when an enemy has spawned behind you and is about to pop you or will they continue nonchalant to wherever they have been scripted to go.

Will they get in front of your line of sight when you are shooting and have to start again because you kill your teammate because even though you told them to take cover they figure they like the cover right smack in front of you and rather take that one.

Will they stop in front of a wall like they are looking at a mirror when the enemy is behind them?

Will they continuously scream "yes Captain", "We're ready Captain" when you want them to stop or will they just silently wait for you to position them wherever you want.

Will you be able to position them wherever you want to flank a convoy or will they always be behind you. If so, what kind of command will you give them to position them in the map how you want them?

Since you know that Wildlands is going to be great... would you mind answering those few questions for me since I also want to be immerse in the campaign.

Well IMO the AI for your teammates in GR FS and GRAW 2 was really good. GRAW 2 especially. I don't need to tell my team to overwatch this and that, because we have Sync Shots. People want a command structure like Socom but that is a long time ago. The AI teammates will be fine. Like I said they just need to carry out simple commands. I would like for there to be Breaching Commands but the breaches if any will probably be done like GR:FS. Some of the things that you are asking are relevant (such as setting up the flanks) but remember Wildlands is a co-op game first. Basically the commands are going to be like GRFS.

Ahhhh, ok, so you were talking more in Co-Op mode than Solo/Campaign mode... see, Co-Op is a no go for me so I am interested in knowing all those questions and much more before I toss 60 cheeseburgers UBI's way.

I will not be playing co-op at all. But you have to understand that Wildlands is a co-op game first. This is the reason that I don't feel the commands will be very in depth.

And hence why I am afraid of what it will be because we have seen ZERO from a campaign perspective. Not to pee on your cheerios, it is your money after all but why would you think the campaign will be even remotely as good of what you have seen for co-op, more so knowing full well that all the investment has been for co-op and co-op only? PVE will be kind of like a necessary add-on because they already committed and said it will be there.

Sorry, don't want to kill your buzz

Because the inclusion of SYNC SHOTS from GRFS with sync shot you really don't have to tell your men everything to do. And as far as setting up flanks I am sure you will be able to tell your teammates to MOVE HERE. That is a basic command. This is not a strategy game. And you have seen ZERO from a campaign perspective because the campaign is basically what you have see. But there are definitely completely different locals that will change up how you do things. They said that the cartel also have military on their payroll. It is going to be like FarCry just better.

There was a YouTube video floating around just after the technical test with about 40mins of campaign gameplay with cut scenes and all. From what I remember the AI team trotted along behind you and reacted pretty good to combat. One thing I found interesting was if they had fallen behind, and you jump into a vehicle, they teleport over and into the vehicle with you.. looked kinda funky, but makes sense. Anyway I'll see if I can find the video, buts it's probably been removed by now. It was VERY rewarding to watch.

EDIT: Not the video I saw before, but this one does show the command wheel briefly.(if you can read backwards Spanish that is)
