    Epick Video but game will be sad ?

    Yes, guys , you made cool trailers about the game . But we all saw gameplay( PC). BATTLES are UGLY ,

    1. Battles should be 10x10, not boring 4x4 as now. Your video about epic battles , but in fact its boring fight 4x4 with useless zerg. Its same active game as 1x1
    2. It will be good if you improve gameplay and add upgrade options and options to choose what kind of troops bring to battle.each player of a team .

    10x10 would be a chaos filled gank fest. 4x4 is far from boring and gives meaning to the concept of the art of battle. 10x10 offers no team play or strategy and would make the combat system pretty pointless since it wouldn't matter what your opponent is doing since he'll have teammates come kill you before you can even land a hit or vice versa. Operations game mode would be cool but any more than 5 or 6 a side would be disaster for a game like this. I'd rather they keep the teams small and the battles strategic. Leave the chaos gameplay for CoD and BF.

    I've already explained my reasoning for disagreeing with the original poster's idea which was pretty similar to Whovie's points.

    When making suggestions people tend to only think of the possible cool parts about it but don't take a second to think of why that suggestion may not work specifically for the game they are suggesting it for.

    I'm sure the developers have tested so many different variations and picked 4v4 which is what worked according to their vision.

    Done, I also want rocket launchers, a silenced pistol oh and a bow for long range stealth attacks. I also want to call in a nuke after 15 kills to automatically win the match. It will be great. Make it happen Ubi.

    I also want attack dogs as well as claymores. Oh and make sure to incorporate a zombie mode too. Why? Because it will be a huge success. A commercial blockbuster hit title AAAA and all that other nonsense mixed in too. It will be the game of gaming forever. Won't be matched.

    That is not critisism, that is ********. You are obviously wishing for a completly different game. One were skillful duelling doesnt happen and where a lot of people mindlessly hack at each other because that somehow is "epic"

    For the last time, this is not the "huuughe epic knight megabattle of doom with dragonnzz " you kids are looking for...

    Well, I do think something like 12x12 (or more) for a specific mode, such as a field battle or gate attack/defense would be a fun addition, provided it did not replace any of the modes already in place, for reasons stated above.

    4v4 is perfect. More people would mean more chaos. Plus with only 8 players on a server they can dedicate enough bandwidth to each individual player to not make combat suck as it might have with more.

    If they were to have more than 4v4, they would have to redesign the entire combat system, because having situations arise with more than three extra opponents would suck. The game is made for small engagements and the combat system would break down completely in the chaos of 6v6. There would be way to many lame and annoying situations.

    Besides I think 4v4 is really great. In many games I have always enjoyed 6v6 more than larger games. Larger games is not quality and especially not in a game like this. What you're looking for is Mount and Blande Warband, which this is not. This is a fighting game really.

    To be fair, BYxMAG propably saw some of those youtube-gameplay which often looks ugly indeed. The popular youtubers who streamed the alpha had no experience and are too busy screaming philosopic considerations like "WWWWWHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUAAA, that vIKING lOOkkZzz so DOOOPE, DUUUDE !!!" so they have no time to play decent. So its mostly running around and trying to hit ppl with heavy attacks.

    The game truely shines in 1v1 , check some of the gameplay of handheldbrando from the Hall of heroes dischord:

    When I first saw For Honor in the first gameplay snippets, I thought similar to OP. I imagined big battles for the city castle, players everywhere, just an epic fight. When I saw that it is more MOBA-y, with 4on4 battles and relatively small battlefields, I was a bit underwhelmed at first. Looked like a third person MOBA, and that's not something I am looking for at the moment. So, when I got the chance to play one of the Alphas, I was surprised to see how well it all works together, and that it is waay closer to a Beat'em'Up than to a MOBA. And I came to the conclusion that, while the actual 4on4 makes you as a fourth pretty important for your team, bigger teams would automatically bring more zerg, more (probably unfunny) chaos, and your own weight in the fight gets diminished. Also, most mechanics are built for 1on1, or to defend against a small gank. There's no mechanics for big group PvP.

    Bottom line: an epic 20v20 melee based capture-the-fortress would be nice, but it's not this game.

    Its a clear criticism - cos video about another game , not 1x1 not 4x4 gameplay. In fact when you see gameplay - 8 gods fights and 30 zergs runs around . All it has to offer the game - we have ALREADY many ARENA projects as 1x1, 3x3 , 5x5 . Many projects let you fight with 15x15 real people. Many its 3+ of each kind And if you do another one - do it well, nice picture arent key . If you want 1x1 - you have mode , if you want command battles - YOU CANT. What i see its nice picture and battle mechanic to test . But its arent change picture in common.
    And if you dont know games - in any mode there people who rush and die . Mode cant protect game from such kind of players. And as i say 4x4 max for this game are sad. 1x1 , 2x2 , 4x4 - its almost same modes.
    If you think 10x10 its wall on wall mode - sad for you . You can do that battle starts 10x10 but when people came to mid it will be 5x5 battle,,, 9x1 - depends on skill xD
    Sorry but i see another one arena priject with good picture and he has less options and multiplayer than opponents.
